So this ex-mutual has some OCs they like to use in stories with other people’s OCs, and someone talked about how their Asian characters would “have an accent/be unable to pronounce certain letters and pronounce words in a funny way” and then ex-mutual said their OC would “try not to laugh at them for that”… They treated it as if it was a funny and “quirky weird” thing, it was not something that was ever brought up outside of the joke and they clearly didn’t even research the languages either, like? What’s the joke here. Not every Asian person has an accent first of all, and secondly, what’s funny about having an accent or being unable to pronounce certain letters?
