rly disappointing to see so many youtubers who used to have handwritten captions on every video just stop doing that in 2025. as if the "ai enhanced" automatic captions dont suffer from all the same problems as the old ones (misses and mistakes words constantly, almost never recognizes uncommon names, etc)
ppl who rely on captions deserve better than a 2nd-rate experience. write ur own damn captions. 90% of the work is just copy-pasting ur script, u spend so much time getting everything else right. or u can buy them for cheap. theres no excuse to abandon ur disabled fans
I miss a lot of things not being able to use YouTube because their captioning system sucks. (I'm hearing impaired, not fully deaf). And everyone around me doesn't understand why listening to media on headphones at full volume doesn't magically make me understand what's being said, it just makes whatever incomprehensible things they're saying louder.
Also, captions for non-English speaking viewers/English learners.

The biggest lie in the history of big lies is the “chewable” vitamin (or “chewable” pill). Those things are not chewable! They are chalk.
When I think of “chewy” vitamins, I think of gummy vitamins. Those are easy to chew.
And the fact is that you are supposed to chew these “chewable” vitamins. You can’t just pop them in and down some water like with normal pills. You have to chew these pills and vitamins that are basically just medicinal sidewalk chalk!

This is the new flag, the old one was more vivid and in a z shape, but it's been made more neutral to be inclusive of people with seizures or sensory issues.
Each stripe represents a different aspect of disability:
Red: Physical disabilities
Yellow: Cognitive & intellectual disabilities
White: (And this is the key one I think) Invisible AND undiagnosed disabilities
Blue: Mental illnesses
Green: Sensory disabilities
If you're autistic or have ADHD? this is your pride month. If you have a mental illness, it's your pride month. If you're hard of hearing, this is your pride month. If you have an autoimmune disorder, this is your pride month. If you are not diagnosed with anything but you know something is up with you: THIS IS STILL YOUR PRIDE MONTH.
