things a concerning amount of people aged 25-40 on this site believe about today's children:
they don't know how to read and this makes them mean and dumb. also even though their meanness and dumbness are the result of poor education, they are still personal character flaws that deserve to be mocked.
they are responsible for wide scale censorship in schools and on social media. because, as we all know, children are famously politically powerful, never want to see horny or edgy content, and love it when books are banned in their school libraries.
they love to spread misinformation around so they can all armchair diagnose each other and act like they have learning disabilities in order to excuse their laziness about doing school work. obviously they are all liars and just need to just get their acts together and grow up instead of shirking responsibility for their actions like this.
they are uniquely cruel in comparison to past generations, and this is because of Phone. and also TikTok. no one has ever been cruel like this before.
they would all be much better off with their parents monitoring their internet usage. if they're closeted and their parents are homophobic then, well, sucks for them. kids being abused out of sight is better than them being annoying where I can see them.

right, so raw mango chaat. you will need: one raw mango, peeled and diced into small pieces, you can go as small as you like as long as you leave some dimension and definition. other than that, a red onion, kasundi, black salt, chaat masala, a green chili, and red chili powder. after you've diced the mango, rub black salt into the pieces and set it aside. now, dice the onions and chili into tiny pieces, remove the seeds if you need to. once the mango has sat around for like, five minutes, ten to fifteen if you have the time, it'll release a minuscule amount of water, drain this. now, make a thick paste of kasundi, chaat masala and red chili powder; the kasundi should have enough moisture to accomplish this, but if you do need to add water, use it sparingly. add the green chilies and taste it, this is the point to adjust it, it might need more spice. then just add in the mango and onion and mix well, coating each piece as best you can. you can score larger mango pieces so the spices get in better, and add diced tomato if that's your thing (it isn't mine). let it sit for a bit, and that's it, you can eat it on its own, or you can use it as accompaniment to savoury food. you could probably eat it with sweet stuff too, but i'm not that brave.
i've reworked this a tiny bit, because the last batch i made was composed of incredibly sour mangoes, the kind that make your teeth sensitive when you chew. to bypass this, grate the mango and cover it with salt and set it aside for at least an hour, this will draw out a fair bit of liquid, which, once drained will leave a more palatable sourness. then, continue with the chaat as usual. i think this grated mango version adds great flavour and texture to a humble daal bhaat.
unhappy side effect of "morally ambiguous" being treated as the pinnacle of writing is that you will often be made to experience what a not so talented writer with big aspirations thinks is morally ambiguous
