that's fair because of how he bungled writing lesbians in Worm, but it's worth mentioning that he handled it pretty well with Twig where one of the main characters is a trans girl. but that was in 2015/2016, i don't know how he'd do in 2012

had a dream that i gained the ability to fly but a bunch of other people also did and they gained additional powers on top of this like healing or generating light or whatever and i was unusual in only getting the flying part. and instead of being happy that i was in the tiny group of people able to fly i felt salty that i didn't get more. and i felt resentful that i had a moral obligation to use this power to like, help rescue people rather than just fuck around with it. really exploring some of my character flaws with this one.
I've had a several flying dreams in my life and what's funny is that every single one has been disappointing in a different way. the last one was 'flying but you can only fly at walking speed', another was 'you can fly but im lazy so you're getting a low poly landscape and you don't get to enjoy the scenery'. my brain knows it would kill the dramatic or comedic potential if it just gave me flying with no catches
happened again. very funny that every time i have a flying dream there's a new catch. this time it was that flying was very difficult and dangerous and i had to take great care not to crash into the ground. also the default flying position was feet-first like going down a slide so i had to fight against that
