(this is tied in with people viewing tattoos as a blemish or imperfection, instead of the art form they really are)

Remus went through so much pain to live for him, so Sirius would go through pain to show him the beauty of it. The beauty of life. Of living with the marks of it.

But then he never got the chance to get all of the tattoos done before he was sent to Azkaban, so he had to do them himself with no reference of where they should be, but that didn't matter because he'd already dedicated his life to memorising every part of the boy he loved.

Remus appreciated calculated, intentional work, not misshapen marks.

Sirius was one for unpredictable chaos that left him with something happy to remember.

Remus had chaos written on him, the mess Sirius craved.

Sirius was a perfect canvas to Remus, everything was where it was made to be.

They equalled each other out.

The chaos to the calm.

Will: Nico is playing hard-to-get

Percy: *looks to Annabeth*

Annabeth: *nods*

Imagine Nyx calling Azriel "Uncle Azzi" and reaching tiny lil chub hands towards this battle hardened warrior, who immediately melts and takes the small bean for a gentle flight around Velaris until he falls asleep.

Azriel hating seeing this perfect, adorable thing that is a creation of pure love in his scarred, horrible hands because he feels like holding Nyx for too long will corrupt him.

But then Nyx just starts tracing his scars and drawing sleepy patterns in them. Nyx seeing not remnants of a torturous last but a way to draw art like what he sees covering the skin of those he loves most

Azriel making his shadows dance and perform for a laughing Nyx who could find yours of entertainment in it.

Nyx always finding his uncle Az, even when Azriel is trying to hide in the shadows, and dragging him into the light.

Azriels shadows always giving him updates on Nyx.

Nyx falling asleep in Azriels arms the fastest (much to Cassians dismay)

Will: ow, you kneed me

Nico*sleepily*: I know I need you

Rhysand: well I do *pulls out folder*

Feyre: this just says "house arrest" and "cassians problem"

So why did nobody mention that in Restore Me Juliette completely shaves her head?

I see no one speaking off this but it caught me so off guard.

She full on gave herself a buzzcut yet no one speaks of it.

But personally I think he would be exceptionally tidy. Because if there's anything he can't stand it's memories of his past with Gabe and the way he and his Mum were forced to live, in that constant mess of trash, cans and bad smells from who knows where. And after going through two wars before he's even a legal adult where nothing would be stable and the whole world was in disarray, the idea of having things in a neat, orderly way probably brought some comfort to him.

SINCE WHEN WAS THIS IN HALF BLOOD PRINCE? I DO NOT REMEMBER THIS SLUR BEING IN THERE.

May this incredible, awe-inspiring line never be forgotten.
