hey!! I read shatter me so long ago i think it was back in 2022? I remember being bothered with some of the decisions made but enjoying the whole series anyway. to me shatter me is such a character driven series and while the plot IS there i feel there were some gaps left unexplored and just that i didn’t get enough or that not all my questions were answered yk? i think it is also a bit unrealistic at times, like i love Juliette and i’m all for women empowerment and women in leadership positions but i don’t feel like she developed juliette in a way that really proved to me as a reader that she’s a fit ruler (don’t kill me please) like she should have spent more time learning how to do this but instead all we got was her almost being killed, being saved because she still isn’t aware of her surroundings, she got kidnapped twice and saved plus put into a coma. i feel like tahereh spent more time developing the romance than the plot (even though i do love the plot i just wish we got more information)

i do appreciate that she gave me nazeera😝 and i love kenji and juliette’s friendship! i love the fact that nazeera and juliette were childhood besties too i wish we got flashbacks :(( and don’t get what i said above wrong i do adore juliette i just think her character development could have been better written (then again my opinion) and i feel like aaron is often watered down to his love for juliette rather than his own character (little on mafi but mostly on fandom)

And when once in an interview Juliette playfully says that she sometimes feels like the thirdwheel, the media goes insane.
