1. 🐍 What is something they would lie to each other about?

I think Eris assumes Nesta knows more about what happened to Feyre under the Mountain than she does. Not that he thinks Feyre would’ve told Nesta everything, but it is whispered about plenty, and so Eris assumes that Nesta knows, has decided not to kill Rhys over it, and (understandably!) doesn’t want to talk about it with him. I think when she finds out it’s the worst fight they ever have.

On a lighter note, Nesta definitely sneaks the hounds extra food, and Eris has stolen Nesta’s hairpins to pick locks before.

2. 🗡️ What do their fights look like? Who’s usually the escalator?

Hmmm hmm. Neither of them exactly had a healthy childhood, and I think it takes them a minute to unlearn the defensive venom-spitting, but once they each realize that the other is also being as mean as possible for avoidant reasons instead of cruel ones, I think they’d actually have a lot of compassion for each other. I think they’d have good intuition for when the other one needs space.

As similar as they are, I do think their big difference would be that Nesta needs Eris to tell her he still loves her after they argue, because her hangups come from feeling like she’s too cruel to love, while Eris moreso needs her to show she still trusts him and feels safe with him, because his issues come from not having been able to protect his family and his Court from Beron.

3. 🔥 Who tops? Who bottoms? Do they switch?

I mean, anatomically, there’s some limitation to what’s possible, but in terms of dom/sub dynamics, Eris wants to be trusted, he wants to feel good enough, he hates giving up control, but he hates the idea of being like his father. And Nesta has a history of fawning by letting men be rough with her. So it really depends. I think I can see Nesta enjoying being a little bratty and Eris being very gentle-dom about it, which is a dynamic I’ve explored in my own writing (nothing I’ve published yet).
