After these two posts from within ten minutes on the same day, no one besides @carhorno or @bustedjaws makes any post for this crossover until @benvoliotheorphan’s Feb 26 fanfic, ‘til I crash into the ending, which I believe cites your post as its inspiration.

That’s a whole 20 days of you three being the only ones to talk about a ship that the next 95 days saw over 1000 fanfics posted for on ao3, without countless posts and fanart on another sites. 

I’m curious if you’d talked to @carhorno or @bustedjaws about this somewhere, or if, you just coincidentally made your Venn diagram and posted it ten minutes before their art without knowing eachother at all, which is kinda a crazy coincidence. 

either way, cool as fuck for you to have made the first ever bloodymary post!

I have never interacted with nor heard of those people in my life, so yeah absolutely bonkers coincidence. BUT that is still cool as fuck that we saw the similarities separately even before Project Hail Mary's movie was released.

All I can say is that I had just finished reading Project Hail Mary like two weeks before and it was still on my mind when I went to see Iron Lung (late! I saw it on the Thursday after opening).

I don't even ship them as I am an aroace Ryland Grace truther lmao, I just went back and added the tag bloodymary (which didn't exist when I made the post of course) for the sake of those trying to filter it out since it technically applies.

So that is just. Wild.

Also poor kid two for two stabbed in each book thus far because I can't remember if he got stabbed again in Supernova because I haven't read these books since like 2020.

I finally finished the book by my lovely lovely mutual on main @chronicallydragons and TL:DR it is fantastic.

I have so many thoughts about this book that are a bit of a mess to succinctly put in a review so bear with me. May contain very minor spoilers but I don't care about that.

the worldbuilding is phenomenal. I love how the magic is explained as Kat learns to use her newfound abilities from multiple different mentors, showing many perspectives on how magic can be used. Urban fantasy isn't usually my cup of tea but I liked how the fantasy was combined with the modern.

Aside from Kat, Aaron is my favorite character. He's so confused but he's got the spirit.

Kat and Aaron may be my favorites but not by much. I really enjoyed Coleman's POV especially in the early chapters, but even towards the end of the book his narration remains fantastic. I want to wrap Hope in a fuzzy blanket (her relationship with Tythan is just chef's kiss). And someone needs to give Jason a hug. Who am I kidding they all need hugs.

I love the dragon fights and how they constantly have to have illusions up to keep the general public from witnessing the dragon fights.

By far though my favorite scenes are the hurt/comfort, of which there are several, numerous characters get poisoned, cursed, stabbed, bludgeoned, and while they do have healing magic it's not a perfect solution, drawing out the suffering at some points.
