Realistic watches with a HE (BL Edition)
We got a fun ask from @30hsflight to recommend some BL series with plot and realism that has a happy ending. Of course we started overthinking and got a little hung up on "plot", so we focused on stories with realistic, imperfect characters facing the weight of reality. Immediately a bunch of Japanese BLs came to mind... apparently they do a really good job at giving us messy humans navigating life. This list also got really long really fast, so we narrowed things down by choosing a variety of stories from different countries. These are all stories and characters that we really enjoyed and recommend.
Note: After compiling this list, it's clear that these come with some big feels. But we promise they end happy. Good luck.
When It Rains, It Pours JP This story gave us some very complex characters faced with difficult emotions and choices. This one gave us a lot to chew on and big feels. We need to rewatch it some day.
Just watched The Muppet Movie 1979 and it was really impressive. I think I might watch them all now 😳. Could always use more fun and music in my life!
After attending the Jim Henson exhibit, it’s been on my mind. Now I really appreciate his art. So talented!
