Just fyi Grace was given five hours to consider willingly going on the Hail Mary and there’s actually a few really adorable scene where Yao refuses to take Grace unless he wants to go. Which does lead to Stratt isolating him and lying to Yao BUT I love Yao trying to be honorable.
