Something that always bothers me about certain "anti-racism" posts is the emphasis in beauty. It's the specific "how can racism exist" post with different pictures of models from the world looking pretty.
aside from the fact that beauty is completely irrelevant to being deserving of dignity, a lot lf these models conveniently have features that fit within european beauty standards while still being ethnic (i don't know if I phrased it right, I suppose they got surgery to make their features more european?)
And the models are overwhelmingly female. Like those videos that were going around asking how people can be racist when Indian women are so beautiful. It's just fucked up. It reminds me of when men from different countries start bragging about how beautiful "their" women are. The burden placed on women is absurd, they have to be beautiful enough to offset racism.
And you're right, most of those women have surgery to fit these beauty standards, they thin their noses or lighten their skin. It's the same issue with black women in western countries, they are pressured to be like white women. And when they don't, black men mistreat them using that as an excuse. You are damned if you are beautiful, any kind of beautiful, and damned if you are not. There is no escape.
Imagine how cool natalism would be if we didn't live in a patriarchal world. If only a handful of women chose to give birth and it was a thoroughly studied subject. It is a truly wondrous thing. But I can't even marvel at it. Women can't be amazed and horrified at the things our bodies do because people have already decided their worth and our responsibilities before we are even born.
God has ruined drugs for me. I can't get high without feeling the full weight of being human. I am overwhelmed with the fact that something created us and this world and it could be watching us at any moment, it could be doing anything. We don't know who did this and why and what will happen when we die. But the watching part is what gets me. Logically I know that it's religious doom, the same thing I felt when I was a Christian child but now I know it is true. The gods are watching us and we are all pretending it's not happening. I guess it's why people get so easily caught up with cults, it's nice to have certainty.
I now have to write fanfiction about the gods so that I can give myself a fake answer and stop worrying about them. I could also just live with the uncertainty and choose to either kill myself or to have the best life I can in this shit world, but that seems hard so I am just gonna make up a story about the gods and existence. I wish there were already existing stories that I could choose from but all religions are such shit.

Natalism is skipped over so much in philosophical discussion, it is insane. Majority of our things, our philosophies and ideals and religions, skip over our birth. People don't even acknowledge, it makes me think I am mad. I suppose it makes sense that people don't want to confront the fact that we can bring actual human beings into this world and most of us do it without a second thought, because that would require wondering why we would do something so mad, which would then require a closer study into sex relations, into how people are made and why. Into why sex happens and who benefits. And most people don't want to acknowledge the patriarchy.

Life is like one of those movies where the protagonist finds out their whole lives and worlds have been lies. Except this happens everyday. Everyday, I wake up and rediscover another heinous cog of the patriarchal capitalistic racist machine. But unlike the protagonist, I don't find the truth all at once and I never defeat the evil overlords. I just sit here, in the knowledge that there are more lies to discover and I just feel more and more alienated from my friends and family and even from myself.
Reading your diary feels cringe because you don't read it in the same tone you wrote it. And you control the tone, it's all in your head. I strongly believe that one must always hold themselves in the highest regard, higher than gods and any and all authority figures. Know yourself thoroughly, be your own god.

Dissociation is continuous awakening into your own life.
