"What Kind of Asian Are You?"

This video applies to Hispanic people as well. For those of you who don't have the pleasure of knowing me personally, I look very Asian but I'm actually Mexican-American (as in, my parents are from Mexico but I was born in the States.) So yeah, I get stuff like this ALL THE FREAKIN' TIME!

Stranger: "Where are you from?" Me: "I'm from Los Angeles." Stranger: "No, no, where are you FROM?" Me: "The San Fernando Valley." Stranger: "No, no, where are you REALLY from?" Me: "From the NoHo/Burbank/Glendale area." *the stranger gets slightly agitated after not getting the answer they "want"* Stranger: "No, I mean where were you born?" Me: "California" Stranger: "No, I mean where are your people from?" Me: "My people are from THE VALLEY!" OR IT GOES LIKE THIS... Stranger: "You speak English so well, where are you from?" Me: "California" Stranger: "No, no, where were you born?" Me: "Los Angeles" Stranger: "What I mean to say is where are your parents from?" Me: "Oh, Mexico." Stranger: "Oh my god. But you don't look Mexican AT ALL! Has anybody told you you look Asian?" Me: "Yes, all the time." Stranger: "I love Mexican food. Taco Bell is so good. You must go there all the time! Oh, do you watch Univision? Unvision is so caliente! By the way, are you related to Andy Garcia?" Me: *eyeroll*
