fuuuuck i just realized that the future idealized version of myself cant exist without current me being the catalyst for change and doing hard things. has anybody heard about this

i have a lot of thoughts on the matter but i will say that fandom moving from semi-private blogs and communities to extremely public and algorithm-driven social media was a huge mistake that has changed fandom culture for the worse

clicking not interested on something used to mean they stopped showing it to you

nothing online is ever truly deleted. except that one fucking thing you're looking for

the way they went from a band trying to convince everyone they're the outsiders and underdogs and they're just destinied for misery cus the stars said so while making tiktok music, to them actually going more metalcore and alternative in their music style while the message turned into "I don't want to lose my hope, I don't want my spirit to break, I don't want to be a tragedy" and making a whole album about finding unity and common ground with all humans like actually being part of humanity isn't bad as long as we can be ourselves and hold hands about it
