you don't understand Gerard Way is so so important to me cus the way society acts like nonbinary people don't exist absolutely has me internalizing this specific brand of queerphobia where I regularly get upset that I'm not just a "normal" trans man so I could have clear goals and steps to take to transition and instead I'm still "failing to fully commit" and "still figuring it out" at almost 30 years old and then I see Gee being their lovely nonbinary self and I'm like oh right. I'm actually allowed to exist as a nonbinary person in whatever way I am and want to be. not "fully committing" to being a man when I don't feel like one isn't me failing to get my shit together, I'm actually allowed to never commit to something I'm not. mama Gerard said that it was okay.
