One of the things that I think would help fix RE6 (among many) would be to have Piers get infected much earlier. Maybe make his transformation a little less dramatic, or partially arrested if you still need him to be a regular playable character. His first instinct is just to die, to find some way to end it quickly and decisively so he doesn't go full J'avo or worse. Except that Chris is still in unstable single-minded revenge mode and can't be trusted to keep the collateral damage to minimum on his own. Maybe parallel that with Chris' own passive suicidality when meeting Jake and courting a revenge-killing of his own. Maaaaybe do a mid-game partner swap and team him up with Sherry for a chapter or two, get a new perspective on living with one of these viruses.

it's pretty easy to imagine that you are one of some fractional holdout against AI while everyone else has fallen into some misguided love affair with LLMs, and I am so happy to tell you that this is not the case.

the US public is deeply suspicious of AI's impacts on jobs and education. Kamala Harris and the Republican party are both polling better than AI. 8/10 gen zers are concerned about AI's impact on education and only 18% are positive about this technology. there is widespread, bipartisan grassroots organizing against data centers. 97% of Britons are against Grok's "undressing" technology. the majority of Americans are concerned about AI in arenas like self-driving vehicles and healthcare. Even polling data from companies centered on AI shows significant concern around generative technology. OpenAI isn't meeting internal growth bench posts. On top of all that, Musk and Altman are currently both making fools of themselves in a very public trial.

Like somebody hitting on Kon while Tim is buying Bart snacks. Kon carrying Bart on his shoulders and a guy offers to carry Tim off and show him some fun too. Waitress chatting up Bart, who is demolishing an entire pizza while Tim and Kon make out.

I just like the thought of them aggressively trying to hold hands together, but walking three wide at a crowded Pride festival is really unreasonable.
