A fandom event inviting writers, artists, and other creatives to make fanworks for the Avatar Kyoshi novels based on prompts selected by the community. All works will be accepted, as long as they adhere to the rules. This means one-shots, multi-chapter fics, drabbles, artwork, video shorts, headcanons, meta-analysis, cosplay, mood boards, music, etc!
How does it work?
Participants will work on their pieces leading up to the event and post during the Kyoshi Era Week (August 24th-30th). There are no obligations, submit however little or as much as you want! Ideally, participants would post pieces on the day of the associated prompt (ex. a piece inspired by the "Sun and Moon" prompt would be posted on Monday). It should be noted that pieces will be accepted late, so don't stress! This isn't school, it's a party! Try to have fun!

Maybe I make a piece, how do I submit it?
The tag for all platforms (Tumblr, Ao3, Bsky, Twitter, Tiktok) will be #KyoshiEra26. Here on tumblr, PLEASE @kyoshi-week to help me find your pieces. For other platforms, please send links to your work. I will also be keeping an eye out on other platforms.
If you are a registered user submitting written work through Ao3, a collection has been created (Kyoshi_Era_Week_2026). You can also post written works on tumblr, but please remember to a) tag appropriately and b) use the "Read More." No longposts will be reblogged.

People in the U.S., U.K., Brazil, and Singapore can now share videos and chat with friends directly within the YouTube app. The update bring
This post talks about a new DM feature in youtube. What it fails to mention is that as part of this new feature is that when you send someone a link to a video, and they open it in the youtube app, they will see who sent them the link. Specifically, your channel name.
If your google account name is your real name, so is your channel name by default.
This means the new default behavior is that everyone you send a youtube link to will see your full name if they open it in the mobile app.
To turn this off:
Go to your youtube app settings
Go to Privacy
Turn off "Channel visibility for shared links"
Trimming the source id (the stuff after the '?' in links) will also prevent this from happening.
Tumblr should take away the ability to like posts for a few weeks so peeps understand this website cannot survive with just liking. I see so many gorgeous gifs and edits and they get like....13 reblogs and 700 likes. That's not right, fam
