(An Iron Lung inspired poem, for Simon and only Simon. Not The Butcher and nor The Convict. By Ronak.)

Let's talk desperation.

Humanity, imperfection.

All that defines your existence,

Be it fate, or perhaps just chance.

Wandering 'round the depths, the blood and the mess,

Wondering if they'll save you, or if salvation's death.

The stars are all gone, and so is your last light,

You'll end here, it's all for naught.

"Forgive me Father," you used to say once,

Your pleas heard by none, they left you to rot.

"The Butcher", "The Convict", it's all the same, you think.

All saying who you are, none caring what you think.

You know it's bleak, you know what awaits.

The blood and the shame are all that remains.

Born of it you are, and to it you'll return,

The blood surrounds you, staining your face.

It lives within you, the blood and the pain,

Caves your lungs in, burns you and your faith.

Your skin's on fire, your head cold and eyes dim,

"We see the light" they say, you know the end is near.

You don't want to die, that much is clear;

But was it ever a choice? Was it your call to make?

Welded in you are, with your guilt and blood,

Melting bit by bit, one piece at a time.

They all call to you, one voice then the next,

You have a choice it seems, the only one that's left.

Once again you see hope, not for you this time,

But it's all you have, you've come to realize.

You'll take the chance, you'll risk it all.

This bit of agency, of you they can't deny.

You've belonged to them, for so long you have,

Don't you, still? Well...there's no changing that.

You've made a choice now, not fully yours still,

It's forced upon you, each salvation, every deal.

But there might be hope, if there once was, then why not again?

Is it outrageous to want it to end?

You aren't cruel, you never were, really.

But the blood stays, and it can't be cleaned.

You are the blood, you are human,

It gives life and corrupts, you've seen it first hand.

Humanity, life,

Death, and then blood;

It's all a cycle, all of what you are.

You've been soaked through, you cannot hide now,

You hear them yelling, calling your name now.

Then it goes quiet, you'll then be gone,

A poem dedicated to Simon.

BLOODYMARY ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE AU

Grace is immune

Simon gets infected and Grace desperately searches for a cure

Rocky is the engineer friend like in the movie and helps keep them safe physically

Grace, Rocky, Adrian and now Simon too all stay in sumeru. Because. Sumeru is the nation of wisdom, I think Grace would go there for more answers

He visits the akademiya regularly and has suppressed the urge to call people out on their nonsense multiple times, before remembering that apparently, "Teyvat has its own laws".

(Let him call Azar a staggering waste of carbon it'd be so funny)

He'd love the atmosphere despite everything, I think. He'd try to immerse himself in this new, yet very familiar and earth-like culture

He thinks it's crazy that there's a whole base on the moon, and that the moon itself is a weapon, but teyvat's sky has been fake for so long

Simon is still confused. He doesn't know how he got there, and on an "earth", no less.

He's very traumatized from being in the blood ocean and THEN being somehow thrown into the abyss

The traveler wonders how he even survived, when he doesn’t seem to be different from other humans, and very much doesn’t have the ability to purify the abyss like they do.

- While researching Teyvat and its properties along with the weird physics and laws of this world, Grace and Rocky come across The Abyss™️

- This and that happen, and who do they find in there?? SIMONNNNN🗣🗣🗣

- Yes after the events of Iron Lung Simon somehow ends up in Teyvat through the abyss

- Don't ask me why if he can be on the Hail Mary and Grace can be on the SM-13 then they can both be in Teyvat😔😔😔

- The traveler confirms that Simon is definitely NOT an abyssal creature, but he IS contaminated by the abyss to some degree

- The traveler purifies the abyssal energy as best as they can

This will contain spoilers for genshin impact luna 6.7 update!

Setting:

- Ryland Grace is living on Erid

- Eridian scientists receive a message transmitted from deep into the outer space, hinting at the existence of intelligent life

- Rocky tells Grace. Grace, with the help of Eridian scientists, figures out that it most certainly isn't from earth, yet strangely resembles humans.

- Grace tells them about the Wow! Signal and what it meant (including this because genshin referenced it!!) (we're mixing science and fiction like CRAZY here I mean c'mon it's a genshin and hail mary cross over what were you expecting guys)

- They check out the signal and its source as best as they can, and reach a crazy conclusion: This planet's star doesn't seem to have a petrova line to begin with.

- It's still really far away though, so they can't say for sure.

- Soon they discover what seems to be a wormhole, which also appears to be what carried the message through to them in the first place. (I'M ONLY ADDING THIS CUZ. We OBVIOUSLY don't have an estimate of how far teyvat is from literally anything else, but it's also not close. Clearly. So BAM wormhole)

- Grace looks at Rocky. Rocky looks at Grace. A decision is being made with just staring.

- "Rocky is bringing Adrian, statement." Grace nods.

- This and that happens, they travel to Teyvat. Lo and behold, there's no petrova line. Why? "It doesn't make sense, statement." "No...no it doesn't buddy."

- Columbina notices the HUGE xenonite ship from the moon.

- She tells the traveler. "WHAT'S THAT?! IT'S HUGE!" Paimon almost ruptures Columbina and the traveler's eardrums.

- The traveler says they'll check it out.

- They do.

- "ANOTHER HUMAN?!!!" (Yes they understand each other lemme have this)

- So anyways. They land the xenonite ship on the moon and Columbina helps the traveler and Grace, Rocky and Adrian go to Teyvat.

- The new arrivals are all in awe and shock.
