"Huh... I guess it's a bit of a toss up between Death and Despair of the Endless? Now if ya discount deities of any sort, I s'pose it'd be Bruce? I mean, it depends what ye call deep right? But we did try bein' honest with one another an' that's certainly a difficult exercise for the both of us. We're really givin' this whole datin' thing an earnest shot. So that's a jump in the deep end alright in me book."
69. Do you believe in soulmates?
"No. Imagine if it was true. Imagine the poor soul stuck ta spent their life searchin' for me or traces of me in perfectly well-adjusted other significant others? Is that not a horrible fate? I think we should have many loves, platonic or otherwise. An' I think we should be able ta truly love them, ta fully love each of them, just as passionately an' vibrantly an' maybe differently as possible. It's also how we get ta meet all the diff'rent iterations of us right? Because we all change as life happens ta us. An' the things we need or are able to provide will change too. An' sure, love knows how to endure, but there's nothin' wrong with missin' the person ya knew once an' loved then but don't see yerself lovin' anymore. I want ta be known more than I want ta be chosen. If anything, that, is more meaningful, ta have someone meet ya, get ta know ya, an' decide of their own volition that yer the one. For now, for some time, for forever, doesn't matter as much as people think."
21. What are your plans for this weekend?
"Ta find a way back in me body, hopefully. Or ta rest a bit. Whichever feels more possible. Maybe visit Bruce too. Let him know I'm not dead now that I'm actually visible ta people."
22. Do you want to have kids? How many?
"I don't know? I think that's one of the aspects of life where I'm happy with it just happenin' ta me? Kids are not in me plans, but any found in me path, I'll care for ta the best of me abilities. I think, as a society, we just hafta right? Ye don't need a kid ta be yours ta care about their safety, about their health, about their happiness. So any kid I've been entrusted with, or that has met me path, I've tried ta be good for. It's not really known but I've dated several people with kids? Even if it ended, I still keep an eye out for them right? Mercury, Marj's daughter, she's always been so powerful an' sensitive. Kid's doing alright, grown into herself, still of the habit of takin' in strays. Got a bike that her hippie mum does not like. Kelse and Livvie, Oliver's daughters? Went ta live with their mum in New Jersey. Kelse's preparin' her early admission ta Howard. An' then, of course, Bruce is an overprotective serial adopter so that's... that. Ultimately I don't know if I'll be anyone's father, ever, but I hope I can be a decent uncle, a trusted adult. I never really had one of those meself as a kid, but I try an' I borrow from the great exemples I still managed ta eventually meet or watched others become."

also i needed a clean slate on here for several reasons so can’t really regret remaking—i wouldn’t be unstuck enough now to even conceive of regretting it if i hadn’t!—but it must be said that the rate of feedback received by this new blog is significantly lower and that i of course can’t help interpreting this as a referendum on my own diminished allure post–salad days, even though objectively it’s just the inevitable effect of an audience reduction (decimation) that i! myself! sought out! 😔
