ISAT progress update ig since y'all seem to like that (spoilers below)
Okay so since I was spoiled for loop being some kind of past version of Siffrin, it's starting to become really obvious. The "I'm more like a reflection!" line was played off as referring to looking like a star, the nickname Stardust when loop is a star, the journal about wish craft (I mean, that may not have been loop's but god it seems like it could be), etc. So much is hinting at it that if I weren't spoiled I probably would have figured it out by now.
Also, I'm in act 5 now! I played the game from like 11 PM to 4 AM and managed to get from the wish craft section of act 4 to what I assume is near the end of act 5? The whole party showed up to save me from the kimg.
Holy hell act 5 has been crazy. Siffrin rushing the friendquests without really caring enough to remember what made them so special in the first place, going off on their own, the house being all messed up (god floor 3 took me forever to figure out), one shotting bosses and sadnesses, and whatever the hell was going on with the Mal Du Pays.
The game has also already started changing me as a person, I've caught myself saying "you" when thinking to myself (well, more often than I usually do, the fact that I did it in the first place is part of why I relate to siffrin. Which um, after act 5, is not a comfortable thought)
I knew this game was going to be maybe a little dark but I wasn't expecting doki doki literature club vibes I can only imagine what happens in act 6 😭
Also "not so taciturn anymore, are you?" was such a funny line I loved that
I did, however I didn't realize how to get to act 6 the first time so I had to go through the whole party fight twice, but that was sick. I was convinced loop's wish had something to do with why I was stuck in time but that also makes a lot of sense. Great game, definitely in my top 3
