everything is starting to wrap up for the end of the term – i've performed in my last dance show, started my last problem sets, and now my last day of classes is just a week and a half away. i keep having to remind myself to balance my academic work with all of the college experiences i still want to make time for.

Sometimes we don't think we even need help. We believe we can use our existing skills in a way that makes it look like we can solve the problem on our own, and because that seems easier than asking for help, we take that route.
Don't.
If you don't know the EXACT consequences of doing it this new way that you just came up with on the spot, do not proceed.
Every lab disaster I have had to call in professional mitigation to deal with started with "oops, I'll just sweep that up and no-one will know" or "I can just wash it off with water, I'll be fine".

Rushed Sunday reset 😬
Preparing for an important presentation tomorrow, feeling SO nervous I don't think I'll actually be "resetting" anything until it's over
Always loved presenting and luckily I'm not scared of public speaking... I just get very anxious about my work being up for unfiltered debate/criticism and still need to learn to limit how much I let it affect me. I hope practice will help make it better, I still leave these things second guessing myself
