God Damian, you're basically holding him at gun point

Across Gotham… and not just there, a rumor is circulating that the Bat-family perfectly understands the language of bats.

Jon: Dami.

Damian, who is sitting at the computer looking for information on their case: M?

Jon: I have a small… question.

Damian: …they never end well.

Jon: Come on! Just… there are so many rumors about your family, and it’s clear that most of them are false. But…

Damian: …’but’?

Jon: …Is it true that you understand the language of bats?

Damian: …? What foolishness.

Jon: Come on, I understand, but suddenly…

Damian: *Was about to say something, but a bat lands on his shoulder*…*Slightly leans towards it and the bat chirps something*…I see.

Jon: It said something??

Damian: …You stole the last chocolate chip cookie.

Jon: …Huh?

Damian: …And my candies! How awful!

Jon: N-no, that’s not true! There’s no proof!

Damian: Titus Jr. said you’re lying.

Jon: No!! *Runs away*

Alfred: …Master Damian, have you, once again, played a joke on Mr. Jonathan and been observing him with the cameras?

Jon is currently on a big journey to get a job. and he's failing at all of it.

First of all, why is he in a reporter internship? When did he ever show any interest in being one?

DC already knows Jon is constantly called a 'copy/paste' of Clark, and the lack of personality in some of his stories are obvious. So... why???

Honestly, I think it would be much more accurate (and more important: more interesting) if he were a scientist or something similar. He’s shown way more passion for that kind of work than for writing.

And also... what the hell is DC doing with Jon in general?? Like, what even was that last issue of Superman Unlimited?

I actually think the idea of him working on tech stuff with Henry Irons could be really cool, but what the hell was that dialogue? (Also, why is he in his old Superboy costume? You're an adult man get up)

I’m genuinely disappointed with this current era of Jon. Not that the last one was much better, but come on! I thought after Superman Unlimited we might get something (not a de-aging), but a soft reboot that would help his character feel more like himself again.
