The imaginary scenario here is that Lara and Jon (in a happy future) end up in a huge mess and think they're going to die, and for some reason Conner Kent is with Tim Drake in this scenario.

Jon: This could be it, Lara! I just want you to know you were truly a one-in-a-million sister!

Lara: Thanks, Jon! You're the best brother ever!

Jon: I know you won't mind when I tell you that I… That I…

Lara: Tell me anything. Tell me one.

Jon: I… I accidentally deleted your save file of Tears of the Kingdom!

Lara: What?!

Jon: The buttons were so small. When I saw it, it was too late!

Lara: Oh, no! The horror!

Jon: I'm sorry!

Lara: I'm gonna kill you! (Many, many swear words in Kryptonian)

Jon: It was an accident. I'm sorry! Please, I'm sorry!

Lara: Do you have any idea how long it took to find all the Shrines!? DO YOU?!!

Tim: I love you, Kon, I always have!

[Kon is snoring, while Lara and Jon glare at Tim quizzically as he blushed]

Tim: …Yeah, like you love the beach, or a good book. Or the beach.

The way Jonathan is so annoyed with Clark makes it obvious that Clark lived to a time that Jonathan will be old enough to remember his 'motivational speeches and promise to a better tomorrow' and get annoyed by it. And if Lara is younger than Jonathan, Clark definitely lived to see some of Jon's life.

But not as Superman.

So Clark tried to make Jon into the next Superman. If he kept the mindset that ' Clark isn't what everyone needs, Superman is. " he could've accidentaly tried to mold Jonathan into the person he once was. But I think with that mindset something went terribly wrong. Maybe Clark died.Kara might have died too,considering Jonathan's response to the way Kara got terribly injured this chapter.

That's why Jon resents him and takes on the mantle of 'Superman', he has the idea that his way is better than Clark's ever was.

On the other hand Lara doesn't seem like she had much of a relationship with Clark. She is meant to be a mirror to Kara. Lois or 'General Lane' and Brainiac both have a toxic parental relationship with their respective 'daughters'.

I'm guessing General Lane is similar to the Lois we saw in the previous chapter 'the ex-games' .She isn't afraid to sacrifice things for the greater good. One of that things can very well be her relationship with her daughter. Just like Clark tried to mold Jon into a new superman, maybe Lois tried to turn Lara into Supergirl. In her worst Lois becomes a very controlling person, so this explains why Lara turned out this way.

Bruce telling Clark to not count on Alfred liking the restaurant, and Alfred immediately making a sarcastic comment upon entering really reminds me of these "sketches" of adult daughters with a judgmental mother, who bend backward to try to please her but she always finds a problem.
