Bit of a slow day today since I was recovering from a hangover in the morning. Finished most of a lecture plus did some laundry and changed the bedsheets. The lecture I did was Thurday’s lecture on attraction and relationships which I thought was very interesting.
Other than that, I’ve been rewatching Kuroko’s basketball which is great!!
Hoping for a better week next week!!
35/100 days of productivity · happy 2019 🎊🎊🎊
2018 was a special year for me because it brought so much healing for me. i feel more content and driven than i ever was before. i also spent a lot of time reflecting what happened throughout last year. i embraced a lot of good memories, but i also learned from ones where i’ve felt completely defeated and discouraged.Â
one of the resolutions i have for this year so far is to take on opportunities that come to me, and i’m going to do them with the best of my ability. i may face it with fear, but i’m not going to let fear overcome me.Â
even though i cry out of stress most of the time, i’m thankful that i’m not crying out of pain and emptiness anymore. i’m thankful that i’m still here and i finally feel at peace with myself.Â

i think you can learn alot about how to ask question and how to solve problems from primary lit. its not easy to read and i always have to break it down (see my notes) but i always learn something about how to approach a problem from prime lit.

013119 ~ Thursday
Today I tried Pomodoro. It's a technique where you do a task for 25 minutes (using a timer ofc) and then take a five minute break. After every fourth break, you take a longer break of 15-30 minutes.
The fact that I've only tried this technique just now is insane. Although the idea of using a timer in studying (or any task) is not new to me, I find Pomodoro helpful in terms of discipline. This is a fun technique. And I was even able to go on tumblr during my breaks. If you haven't tried this technique, give it a go and let me know what you think.

some tips on note-taking!
Now, I don’t know if these work on everyone, but they sure as heck work on me!
• Make your notes pretty--the prettier they are, the more you’d be incentivized to look at them!Â
• You can put little jokes and puns as shortcuts to remember things! You can also add little jokes to make your notes easier to understand. You’re not writing this for future generations to read, you’re writing this for you. Don’t be afraid to write it in a way that makes it fun for you!
• Don’t be discouraged when you make mistakes! What I usually do is I try doing it again on a sticky note and I just glue it on the part where I made my mistake. It usually looks a lil’ artsy too hehe
• Don’t be afraid to be extra. You think lowkey bullet journaling in your notes will make you want to look at them more? Go ahead and do it! You wanna tape little twigs on the page so that it looks artsy? Who’s stopping you? Go wild.Â
• If you don’t have a lot of time ore creative juices to make your notes pretty, then write them and keep re-writing them a lot. Writing them down helps you remember an awful lot. Sometimes, even after making my notes and being content with how it looks, I always re-write it on a legal pad even if it ends up looking pretty messy. It’s just the fact that I’m writing it down is helping.
