It's been difficult to be consistent in journaling. I do it within work hours because it's the only time I'm focused.

i'm currently training AI to help me with studying (as an assignment for a class, we're testing machine learning and helping develop it to be used in the future more widely to help students use AI as a study tool).
i'm just curious, so heres a poll
how do you feel about using AI in education? (be open minded/think critically please)
its awesome! i love using it to complete assignments.
i use it sometimes, mostly to help understand something to rephrase writing
nope nope nope it should NOT be used in the classroom
I think it depends on the usage, for studying/drafting yes, but not cheating
reblog with answer
my personal take on AI in education:
i like using it as an aid if something is confusing, but i do not like using it to complete an assignment/cheat. i am interested in how training this AI works, essentially it was fed my textbook as where it pulls information from, and we're using it to ask practice questions, explain complex content, and aid studying. i think that it should never be used in lieu of a professor/teacher/tutor because the social connection is so important to development. i think using it as a tool, but not as the only tool is acceptable. i have, like most people have, used it to solve a problem or answer a question, but i feel that using it in that way deprives you of the understanding/learning experience which is essential for human growth!!
if you want to add on/explain your choice in the reblogs, feel free to! but be civil! im just interested in hearing peoples opinions, this is an opinion question. this is not something to argue over. just discuss. civilly. with an open mind.

Important words for you, Student #1
Regardless of how your year has been so far, whether you are evaluating it as a good year, a bad year, or a reasonable year, I have something to say to you.
Especially if you are a student or experiencing any kind of pressure.
I believe that here in Tumblr we have many pre-university students or university applicants.
When you are a university applicant, the demands are high. Do not understand demands as synonymous with "success,"
such as:
"doing well in school and also doing well in the entrance exam", "getting good grades."
