ways im romanticizing school⋆.ೃ࿔*:･🎀
this post is just for funsies ✨ and im writing it for reference and as a reminder to romanticize school cuz its so much fun. if it matters im a sophomore
chewing bubble gum in my classes (i've mastered chewing my gum without getting caught)
touch ups during classes (im always sitting in my classes reapplying glosses, quickly brushing my hair or spritzing on some perfume. usually i do this before class starts or towards the end)
Just remembered that i theoretically never have to take a math class again and started grinning so hard
Okay, so I just started my sophomore year and my sister and parents have been telling me to take at least 1 AP class. Today was my first day of school and we got a list of electives to choose from. This year we get to pick 2 electives and I went with art and independent study for AP. We had a study hall today and during that time our principal came and talked to us about all of the electives. Normally the AP elective is for juniors and seniors, but I wanted to take it to study for the exam. As soon as I told her that, she told the entire class that I was interested in taking an AP. When others heard that, they also wanted to take an AP, but my best friend was kind of pissed off about me taking an AP. I remembered how her dad told my dad that she would be taking an AP, but she kept saying that she wouldn't. She wants to take photography and programming, but now she's saying that she might take the AP elective. She is a top student in our class, but she never really tries and I'm not saying that I'm not happy for her, I just don't want her to always try to compete with me even though I'm not a topper.
I know that this may sound bad, but I really don't want her to take the AP elective. I've been planning and studying for this all summer and I really don't want her to join and for my parents to compare me to her again. I just pray that she takes photography instead. 🙏 🙏
