This is the sleep spell sachet I've made and keep hung on my headboard. I recently had to refresh it, so I thought I'd put down my recipe. Ingredients are interchangeable for whatever intentions you want, and feel free to add more if you want to add different intentions as well!

This is a sachet I created for myself to put underneath my pillow, as I have been plagued with the same recurring uncomfortable dream for the last few months now.

As a person with anemia and depression, sleep is the most important part of my day. However, most nights I can't sleep, and when I do, they're nightmares. Thus, I created a spell to help ease me into sleep and to give me sweet, vivid dreams.

I made mine in the form of a sachet that I keep in my pillowcase, but you can also make it into a jar spell, sew it into your pillow, you can even make it into a tea* if you choose to.

*always make sure you research anything before you ingest it, some of these herbs aren't safe in large quantities, and some may counteract your medication

What you need:

Lavender // calm, stress relief, sleep

Chamomile // calm, sleep

Rose // calm

Mugwort // vivid dreams, sleep

Wormwood // prophetic dreams

Slippery Elm // sweet dreams

Peppermint // sleep, prophetic dreams

Heather // sleep, protection during sleep

Mullein Flowers // guards against nightmares

Valerian Root // healthy sleep

Rosemary // encourages sweet dreams, protects against nightmares

A vessel of your choice (I used a purple sachet)

What I did:

I set up my space, lighting vanilla incense and turning in music I usually listen to when trying to go to sleep

Put one part of each ingredient into your vessel

I charged my sachet through the smoke of the incense, but you can charge it any way you choose

I prayed and left an offering for the Goddess Caer asking for her to bless my spell, but you can also choose to meditate on your intentions here instead 🖤
