I know fans won't believe me, but Bonnie transferred her side of the sleep spell onto Stefan so that when he died, he could say goodbye to Elena and Elena could wake in time for his funeral. That's why Bonnie doesn't show up to see Elena, Stefan does. That's also why Stefan is desperate to cure Damon. If he doesn't die and Damon does, Elena doesn't wake for 60 years... so she essentially loses both Salvatores when she wakes. After all, Stefan was human at that point. Bonnie got the idea to do the transfer spell same as Damon did with Rayna's mark. Alaric's twins were sleeping in the car on their way to the armory, then both were awake when they got to the armory. Bonnie, Alaric, and Stefan are the only people that know the truth of Stefan's death and Elena's awakening. Just watch how they respond to Caroline, Damon, and Elena in scene. Stefan was Caroline's husband, Damon's brother, and Elena's best friend... that's why his death and Elena's awakening is a tightly-kept secret.

Transferring the sleep spell completely required two different spells because it wasn't one connection between them, it was two. Bonnie was connected to Elena and Elena was connected to Bonnie, so it works like this... When Bonnie transferred her side of the sleep spell onto Stefan, Stefan was then connected to Elena. Elena was still connected to Bonnie, so Bonnie still had to connect Elena to Stefan. Bonnie couldn't connect Elena to Stefan at that time because she was stuck in the boiler room with the uhm... seal that Kai put up for Katherine, I think it was. So she transferred Stefan first, then transferred Elena later. The two spells are what you'd expect as one twin is born before the other. They're not born at the same time. And it happened that way because Elena was stuck in the boiler room.

In my previous post, I mentioned trying to take a nap. What I didn’t mention is that I also had a projector running a YouTube video with ambient music. In this post, I’m going to talk about the ways to induce sleep magic without using a vr headset (because it’s slightly dangerous to sleep in it).

Method 1: the Bluetooth speaker method

Having a smart speaker like Alexa or something similar running a playlist from Spotify or something to help induce sleep can help aid in dream magic. Ambient music works best.

Method 2: the Sleep mask

I use this frequently. I have a Bluetooth headset that is also a sleep mask and I use the sleep mask to help me with getting to sleep and also to help with scrying. Similar to a scrying mirror, the mask blocks out all light and if you’re a visual person, you can see shapes and images as you listen to music. Also very useful for astral projection.

Method 3: the projector method

I recommend this one in tandem with the sleep mask because projectors put out a lot of blue light. This is where you put on a trance inducing video (possibly one with a mandala effect) and zone out to it and listen to the silence behind the sound.
