Woven from the love of the Weaver Witch, Spinstra, Bobbin is nothing less than magical! She aims to one day become the greatest mage from Patchland! Given the reputation of her evil sorcerer uncle, Yin Yarn, and his multiple attempts to take over Patchland and Dreamland alike, Bobbin found herself struggling to break out of his shadow. But upon traveling to Dreamland and befriending Tiff, Meta Knight, and Prince Fluff, she finds that she's far more than a bad guy's niece. While her family history is still complicated, between Yin Yarn's extended relatives and Spinstra's history with NME, Bobbin knows that she defines herself, not the people that came before her. 

Bobbin has a strong love of adventure, be it reading about it from her cozy bedroom or going out into the world for herself. She can constantly be found problem solving with her friends, and she takes great pride in her ability to help, be it in Cappy Town's community center or the weapon forge of Halcandra. While her initial lack of training made her feel small, she's since gained a lot of confidence and pride in her spellcraft. Bobbin's magic is channeled through strands of yarn and her crochet hook (which acts as a wand as well as a melee weapon). She can rearrange the yarn wrapped around her torso and in her buns into different shapes to aid her as tools in battle, commonly using webs to catch people. Trouble is, once she's out of yarn, she's limited in what she can do. Occasionally she will also use this to reshape Fluff and swing him around. She mostly acts as support, empowering her friends. But when she's needed most, Bobbin will step up to the plate to be just as much as a full fledged hero as those around her.

Her claim to fame is studying the Metamortex: the mysterious magic that can transform Kirby and Prince Fluff into all kinds of things: tankbots, trains, dolphins, etc. Bobbin has worked hard to understand and recreate them, as well as craft some original ones of her own.
