#shifting stuff

recently ive been messing with my sleep schedule which has caused lucid dreams and nightmares

this morning i woke up and literally felt somebody kissing me. i had my eyes closed and i HEARD someone moving and breathing next to me. it felt like i was either in a completely different reality or in a dream but i was pretty much fully awake tho… i felt like if i had kept my eyes closed for a little while longer, something would have happened (like a shift or idk i wish i knew) but i got scared and opened my eyes without second thought.

i JUST remembered it now like 15hours after waking up it was so weird like i FELT physically someone kissing me and heard a person next to me. before i opened my eyes i did for a really slight moment think it was my s/o and i think maybe i tried to keep my eyes closed but it was genuinely scary i was home alone too

also i wasnt even trying to shift that day or the day defore

the big question. i shift for a lot of reasons! and in case anyone out there needs a relatable post, here this is.

the magic of it

since my main desired reality is hogwarts, i think this is a no brainer. ever since i was a little girl ive always longed for the “fairytales”. i wished i could cast spells, chase magical creatures through the woods. i desperately wanted what everyone told me was fictional. the want stayed with me my whole life— and now i get to have a grasp on my childhood dreams.

characters

i am deeply connected to fictional characters. i sometimes find that i can relate to thoughts on a page more than my peers. my favorite characters changed as i aged, but one thing stayed the same. i resonate with the misunderstood.

environment

with how the world is right now, it is normal to want an escape from time to time. here in my current reality i’m worried of so many things constantly. i have a great life, but my anxiety wears me down. the fact that i am able to be in another place, another scenario, just for a little while, is something im extremely grateful for. i would much rather stress over a magical creatures exam than stress over job interviews.

As someone with INTENSE insecurities I've found that Spike has invaded my brain 😭 like when I'm getting dressed and I'm like: I look disgusting 🤢 maybe I should just wear a hoodie and jeans.

It's like I can imagine Spike telling me my outfit is fine and I look cute and it doesn't help that I always have to move his cardboard cutout when I change so he's just there in the mirror like
