i really don't get why these people keep claiming that proshippers need professional help - all evidence points to the fact that therapists tend to overwhelmingly lean "you can do what you want with fiction as long as you're not hurting real people".

it suggests to me that people who say this have never actually met a therapist or psychologist, and that they definitely do not know what therapists actually do. antis seem to have some sort of universal moral scrupulosity that overtakes their perception of good or bad, and their dissatisfaction with their own morality is something they take out on others. frankly i think cognitive behavioral therapy would be really good for them. it's been really good for me
