I, obviously, need to clarify god no I do not support nor like pedophilia, ephebophilia, grooming, etc; however I have literally never found anyone or heard any case of a pro/darkshipper who has ever carried these ideologies into real life. Now, the majority of these people do, in fact, make this kind of stuff to troll. I am aware of that. But there are many cases of it being from teenagers who experienced severe sa/grooming/etc and use these FICTIONAL CHARACTERS to cope.

“That’s a bad coping mechanism” yeah. It is. They’re also high schoolers. They can’t always come forwards about it, get help, etc- coping mechanisms are unhealthy sometimes, and yeah they need to work on it. But you know what? I would rather see an alight motion edit of fuckin’ Toodles and Poppy from dandy’s world going on a picnic date then hear another case of a child who experienced severe trauma, didn’t get help, and lost their life before they could even properly live it.

Yeah, it’s gross, yeah you don’t have to and really shouldn’t engage with it, but my god the way some of you treat these kids. You act like they are the devil in carnet instead of a misguided kid who’s doing the best they can to survive .

I almost always hate the argument of “there’s bigger issues” because it’s so often used against people just having feelings, but for once I’m gonna use it tbh; there are bigger issues than this. Someone making videos or drawings of a power-imbalance relationship is far fucking less of an issues than the fact that the president of the United States of America is a convicted rapist, against women and girls.
