Gravilliers is a minimalist apartment located in Paris, France, designed by Studio Idà. Set within Le Marais in the 3rd arrondissement, this 30-square-meter studio renovation treats natural light not as a condition to be accommodated but as a material to be worked, refracted, and multiplied.
"The Moments Between The Breaths" is from a small collection of infinity themed pieces I did that were an exercise in letting go. I love control in my art, so letting go is one of the greatest challenges. It's where I need to grow. In college I studied the arts of Asia and the masters of scroll painting and calligraphy. They could capture an entire story in just a couple strokes. I have always respected that 💙

At the end of this last week of decluttering, cleaning and purging I have ended up with 5 bags of trash, 2 full bags of flattened cardboard, a bag of plastic recycling, 2 boxes and a Rubbermaid bin of donations, and a HomeSense bag stuffed to the gills with reusable grocery bags.
