I know I briefly mentioned Animal Crossing as an interest theme, but the more I think about it, the more I like it, so let's go a bit more in-depth.

Let's start with a headspace that would function like Animal Crossing; fair warning, I have only ever played New Horizons, so it will be heavily based on that. First of all, housing. If you would prefer a more compact headspace, this would be great. The houses would look pretty small outside but could be as big as you want them inside! This way, the sheer sizes of homes wouldn't clash, if that makes sense (a massive mansion next to a tiny house would feel odd). You could also have nature function like the game! You could shake a tree, and a singular piece of fruit or a stick just the perfect size could fall to your feet, or when fishing, the fish gets thrown into your hands after reeling it in (no hook issues!!) along with how quickly things grow (just a few days for a fully grown plant!), easily collectible materials, etc. etc. If you want, you could also make everything look like animal crossing. The trees could be three balls of leaves sitting neatly on top of a stump, the grass could have little shapes of different colors on it, certain types of flowers could look like they do in the game, the cartoony atmosphere, and more. If you really want to go all-out animal crossing, you could even incorporate some of the buildings from the games and give them system functions or just regular functions! For example, the Resident Services could be the front building or a place to contact certain alters (gatekeepers, protectors, caregivers, etc) for help. Blather's Museum could be used for memory and/ or information storage and just being a regular museum for fun! The Airport could be used as transportation between islands if you decide to have multiple for a different subsystem, for a different theme, for a certain group of people, etc. Nook's Cranny and The Able Sisters could be used to shop for various different things. The Campsite could be where new alters appear and/or where they settle while they work on creating a house.

CandyLand!!

Pretty self-explanatory, a Candyland theme! You can live out your (maybe) childhood dreams in a world of snacks! It could all be for decoration, or it could actually be edible! If you choose to make it edible, you should ensure it regenerates somehow. You could have different types of food for different types of weather like in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs or maybe just the outer world, but things are replaced with candy, like in Cookie Run Kingdom!

Some examples of candy replacements are: Clouds become Cotton Candy Crystals become rock candy Snow becomes Ice-cream Vines become licorice Flowers become lollipops Rain becomes sugar water River water becomes Koolaid Wood Becomes Chocolate etc. etc.

City Themes

Hello and thanks for the request! City is a great idea and I'd love to do it!

So cities can be very diverse depending on the architecture, how big and advanced the city is, and how old it is. In this post, I am going to talk about and give visuals for big cities with your average big city architecture, smaller cities that seem older with a Middle Eastern architectural style, and an overgrown/ abondoned city.

Big City!

First we start with your average big, advanced city. Tall towers, bright lights, completely packed together. By that description it doesn't sound that cool, but the views are amazing! Plus there is so much stuff to do in one area! Very convenient. Also if you've ever been to a city you really like, you could probably Google it! Plenty of photos should come up. Here's some big city visuals!

Middle Eastern City

Next is the city with a more Middle Eastern architectural theme. It's beautiful! There are many visuals of long shopping markets packed to the brim with beautiful products that would just be amazing to walk though! At that I'll leave you with some visuals.

Overgrown/ Abondoned City

Similar to our Overgrown/ Ruins Post, there is a bit of a spectrum to this. The city could be like any other city, just LOTS of plant life growing all over, it's could be an old city that is overgrown that has loads of greenery, it could be abondoned and overtaken by plants, or anywhere in between, maybe even a mix! Whatever you decide to do with it, I'll give you some visuals to get you started.
