Y’all have you checked out the apothecary offerings lately? These herb bottles are newish and have rapidly become one of my top sellers. I just added some new choices last week including Mandrake, Wormwood, Nettles, and others. I love that y’all love them! Today I shipped every single open order including international ones. I’m planning to update the website through tomorrow with some new things. I’m also restructuring some listings, adding new sizes, and adding new sections to the website. Perhaps you’ve noticed my use of “Ceremony” in the branding and name lately. I’m transitioning Nola Esoteric into a new name! Surprise! I hope y’all love it as much as I do. Ceremony is my life. Everything in my work and my world revolves around ceremony and ritual. I spent a year waiting for a new name to come and when it occurred me I’d already been calling my oils + perfumes “ceremony scents” I realized I’d already chosen the perfect name. It was a funny “duh” moment. I founded this brand as a sister company to my witchcraft school New Orleans School for Esoteric Arts in February 2016. It began in my home studio and I’ve returned full circle back to my sacred space. Everything is evolving as it should be, as always. Thank you so much for your support and love. Two brand new natural perfumes were put on the site a few days ago. Redemption and Savior are both young Amber compound based with Neroli, Jasmine, and Palmarosa. Savior hits earthy heart notes with frankincense, myrrh, and the entrancing sweet allure of Douglas fir. Redemption is citrusy, sunny, and spicy with ginger, black pepper, and cheerful kumquat. I’ve got a lot of new natural perfumes that I’ve been working on for weeks and hope to update the website this weekend. As always every natural perfume is made with homegrown, urban crafted, and/or organic whole botanicals. I exclusively use certified pure therapeutic grade essential oils and organic carriers as well. Hey everybody! Happy Friday. I’m not sure about y’all, but I’m stoked this week is over. I’m quite ready for Uranus to fully settle into the first degree of Taurus and get themself super cozy. This transition has made me feel sick, stressed, and exhausted. In the world of single moms exhaustion is super norm so I don’t need any help in that department! Anyway this juicy picture is a brand new product I finished the other day. It took a hours over several days to get it just right. It’s a triple palo santo compound with a warm smoke enfleurage in organic shea. I lost count of the number of charges [smoke “rounds”] I did but it was at least 24. Also- I started no fires! That’s always a plus. Other notes on this sexy + smokey palo santo solid include vanilla, warm spices, and some earthy citrus notes. It’s basically my favorite thing so far this year. The only problem is... I’m at a naming blank since I love it so much! Ahh! Maybe I’ll figure it out and get it listed this weekend. Open to suggestions too! We've received an amazing amount of DMs regarding how to hex a nazi in response to our previous post and current story step by step on hexing. We are so grateful for all of you powerful witches rising up to the call for action. We're also encouraging amping up protections for yourself and those in the line of fire at this time. Hibiscus is one of our favorite Summer plants. Here in New Orleans we're pelted by heat and humidity from June-September. It can be so intolerable at times that all you can do is lay down in front of an air conditioner. Praise the swamp gods for Hibiscus tea! It can actually lower body temperature. That means when the season of "melt to death" arrives you can keep cool. Or at least, be chilled out some. . Hibiscus is also a very magical. It's useful in love, lust, and divination spells. Its magic is so potent you can just keep a flower in your pocket to attract a lover! It's packed with vitamin C too, and has been used for centuries in hair + skincare.
