Today was quiet. Which, in this house, still means a dozen things went slightly sideways.

I woke up to find Wisp had stolen one of my socks and turned it into her latest nest. Maple knocked over a potted sage plant and pretended it wasn’t her. Thistle is teaching the chickens to fear him. Again.

Gran made lavender tea and told me the moon’s going to shift soon—whatever that means. Then she spent the afternoon sorting crystals in the basement, muttering about alignment and “timing spells.”

What I Did Today:

Watered the garden plots (tomatoes still growing like they’re enchanted)

Brushed Fluffs (he tolerated me for a full 47 seconds—record)

Cleaned out the coop (chickens: ungrateful)

Made a daisy chain crown (don’t ask me why, I just needed to)

Sometimes I feel like I’m waiting for something. Other times I think the something is already here—and waiting for me.

For now, I’m just going to keep planting, feeding, watching… and listening.

The wind knows my name. I’m almost sure of it.
