I just bought a new flipping moleskin to try to be better about sketching but darn it I just brainstorm better with paint. So, hello. I hope everyone had a good year's and and new year 😊 some really awesome art things happened for me in 2017, and I've met some really awesome and crazy talented people that I want to take the time to list in another post. For now I'm looking ahead. I didn't really make any immediate effect resolutions this year but have been thinking about things I would like to accomplish in the long term, of which I've been gradually building a list. I want to do some really large scale paintings in watercolor. I want to put out an art book. I'd love to try a graphic novel (if anyone interested is a writer, hey!) And at some point in my life I will make a tarot deck. The motivation resurfaces every once in awhile and I've been keeping various ideas as they come in the back of my mind--like this quickie for the Devil card here! And some personal stuff goals too.
