I know it's hard right now. It's scary. The world feels like it's closing around you and trying to push you out. We all feel it. And we've been in your shoes. I want you to know that your community is here for you. We will help you anyway we can. We need you here more than you could possibly know. You are our future. Whatever you need to do, just stay alive. Not just physically. Keep your truth alive however you can. Even if it can only exist in a diary under your mattress, that version of you is needed and valuable in the world.
We will get through this. Just stay present, stay here, and stay hopeful.

Dress how you want. Do what you want.
You are entitled to respect regardless.
Are you a trans man and enjoy wearing dresses and makeup? Youre still a man.
Are you a trans woman and you dont shave or you like body soap scented Cedar, Diesel, and The Firey Pits of Hell? Youre still a woman.
Are you enby/agender/genderqueer and you like presenting more one way than the other? Guess what! Youre still entitled to respect!
Your identity is far more than how you are perceived. Only YOU get to determine who you are.
You need gender dysphoria to be trans!!!!

And for the non-dysphorics reading this. Please stop calling yourself trans! It is harmful to the community. If you are unsure if you have dysphoria or not this post isn’t about you BUT if you know you don’t have dysphoria STOP SAYING YOUR TRANS!!! And DO NOT GET HORMOMES you will regret it because you will get actual dysphoria and any changes that happen while on hormones will not go back to normal after detransitioning.

Being a man, for me, is simply about looking in the mirror and seeing myself reflected. I no longer have a dizzy, dysphoric allergy to my body, which is a miracle. But passing is different, strange. It creates in me a feeling in the gym, the train, and the bathroom where I translate as someone unfamiliar: a stranger who understands the rules of binary gender engagement; or worse, who has agreed to them.
