personally, i’m fully convinced that most (not all) of my features at pretty androgynous, like my birth name, face, shoulders, and even my hair, and i kinda forget that doesn’t register with people. Especially Because i have medium length waves. but im genuinely convinced that leaving them in down is just the most androgynous thing ever. the only thing i hate is when my hair looks bad and i have to clip it up, and all of a sudden its giving Girlypop 300000 feminine maxxing. the way my brain works is weird
TW gender dysphoria
I was recently asked to explain to someone how gender has no physical appearance while also saying gender dysphoria is valid
So I figured I’d talk about it here, too
Here’s the thing. It’s not really ‘gender’ dysphoria. It’s more of Expression Dysphoria. You wish to express yourself and your identity in a certain way and be perceived in a certain way that aligns with how you internally perceived yourself. That internal expression may stereotypically line up with your identity or it may not, and that’s okay.
I say this as an Agender person who expresses themselves masculinely and is comfortable being perceived as a dude and gets dysphoric when perceived femininely
I really wanted to go on a tangent this morning about how harmful the idea that men are always horny is and how that's impacted my growth as a genderqueer person as well as my relationships. However, I don't have it in me today big dog.
Stop painting with broad strokes. Don't make me defend men. Good hell.
Drink some water and don't piss me off.

by: Amari Murray The first time I noticed the change, it was in the mirror. Not my reflection – hers. We were getting ready to go out, Beyonce’s “Diva” spilling from a speaker on the dresser while the bass vibrated softly through the bedroom walls. Clothes covered nearly every inch of the bed: a black mesh top she already rejected, two pairs of jeans, one gold heel hiding beneath a denim jacket,…

Gender is so stupid. I don't want to be a boy, I don't want to be a girl. I just wanna dress masculine/feminine depending on my mood.
