Energy sensing is one of those foundational skills that can feel frustratingly vague when you’re starting out. Some people describe it as tingling in the hands, warmth or cold spots, pressure, static, or even that “magnetic push/pull” between the palms. Others experience it more through their psychic senses—seeing subtle glows, hearing impressions, or just knowing something is there.
I’ve been putting together a series of beginner-friendly guides on energy manipulation and sensing, and the second installment just went live. This one dives deeper into the mechanics of energy, psychic senses, metaphysical anatomy (aura, chakras, nadis), and includes practical training techniques like:
The clap & rub method
Energy glove visualization
Hand scanning over the aura
Push-pull play between the palms
The goal is to treat these like energetic calisthenics—small daily practices that train your subtle body the same way physical workouts train your muscles.
For those interested, you can check out the full guide here:
👉 Energy Manipulation & Sensing Guide – Beginner’s Edition 2: Energy Sensing Basics
But I’d also love to hear from the community:
How did you first learn to sense energy?
What exercises or methods worked best for you?
Do you lean more on physical sensations or psychic impressions?
I think sharing experiences could really help beginners see how varied (and valid) energy perception can be.
Honestly, I think I've reached an acceptance-stage about the portrayal of the Jedi in Star Wars. In that: I am ok with both interpretations of their morality (or lack thereof), and great storytelling has come out of them both.
It's ok for there to be a version of Star Wars that treats them as the ultimate force of good and who weren't at all to blame for the events of the prequels/the fate of Anakin (aka George Lucas' original vision) AND the version of Star Wars that has them as a well-intentioned but very problematic order, who became out-of-touch and morally compromised, and are in dire need of reform (aka the current canon).
There's not much use whinging about Lucas' original vision being eclipsed nowadays, when the modern day perspective on the Jedi clearly resonates far more with the majority of audiences. And that's allowed the saga to expand and grow in its mythology, and build a more nuanced story, which is also what modern audiences tend to prefer. I think in a lot of ways, this becomes an inevitability for any large-scale fictional universe, as the simple fairy tale morality can only let you do so much with worldbuilding. It happened to Star Trek too.
At the end of the day, it's a myth. And myths change all the time. It's ok. We can just enjoy the parts we like and ignore the rest. Star Wars is forever, and our personal connection to it is what matters most.
Having the realization that you are worth more than the way you have been treating yourself and you deserve to be treated with dignity, respect and compassion, will help anyone to break free from any illusions and face the reality of a relationship, career, friendship or life in general. You taking back your power and saying ‘I deserve better’ is the ultimate self-love moment, where you finally stand up for yourself, take control of your life and decide to change, as your own internal toxicity is not serving you anymore. Finding the inner strength and courage to walk away from anything that does not serve your highest good anymore, is an act of self-respect.
But before engaging in adding up new healthy ways of thinking, habits and lifestyles, it’s important to go through a cutting away process. Removing the extra weights, which may be toxic people, environments, habits or negative feelings or painful memories or grudges or past trauma and wounds. A deep cleanse must take place, before the restructuring and reprogramming of your system, for the simple reason, if someone is still holding on to old ways of being, manifested reality will be a repetition of old cycles.
Healing is done best by going to the root, identifying the wounds, narratives they generated due to trauma, limiting beliefs, insecurities, doubts, projections and shedding such layers that are not a reflection of your true authentic being. After a period of healing and inner work it will become easier to engage in activities that contribute to a conscious, intentional and healthy lifestyle and form healthy habits more efficiently.
However, after going through this first stage of healing and self-actualization, you must develop a high-level self-love which is a combination of self-compassion (divine mother energy) and self-respect (divine father energy), in order to maintain balance in your life, so that you will not get lost in being obsessively spiritual or destructive, as both these extremes are deadly and artificial ways of living. Walking on the middle path with awareness, mindfulness, conscious, intentional way of living is considered to be sustainable for human beings.
Walking on this middle path is not only useful to avoid rock bottoms but also helpful to walk on a path of enlightenment and ascend spiritually, while being firmly grounded in the present moment adhering to all human responsibilities, without losing a sense of reality. Just like a tree, roots must reach the deepest parts of the earth so that branches can touch the heavens above. We as humans exist in between, thus must embrace our paradoxical nature, by living an intentional balanced life.
This is a basic introduction to the three paths of spirituality: Right Hand Path, Middle Path, and Left Hand Path. After a study into each branch, and speaking with the spirits who oversee each of them, the following documentations have been made. This can be used to help an individual discover their own path in life, to see which one would be best for themselves. As a note, all of these Paths will challenge you to various degrees, and each one has its own methods of teaching based on the ultimate goal of the Path.
Brief Guide:
Right Hand Path - Overseen by Angels. Values include mercy, compassion, selflessness, temperance, non-attachment, union with divine plan, order, honesty, good-will, and inner-serenity. Ultimate goal of this path is to lose identity of self in order to unite with The Source.
Middle Path - Overseen by Dragons. Values balance, harmony with nature and community, sage wisdom, honour, justice, knowledge, and being spiritual while remaining a normal human at the same time. Ultimate goal of this path is to embrace the cycle of reincarnation, not to transform.
Left Hand Path - Overseen by Demons. Values self-empowerment, Illumination, questioning tradition, dark wisdom, all knowledge (including forbidden), rebellion, self-mastery, retribution, and challenging oneself through adversity. Ultimate goal is to overcome all human limitations in order to transform into an empowered spirit upon death.
The Right Hand Path
The true Right Hand Path is what the angels follow, not the Abrahamic religions; it is a Path which strongly values lawfulness, virtues, mercy, and temperance. The angels follow the supreme deity, The Source, who is vast and formless, beyond all existence. They also greatly honour Ptah, the creator of this universe and the Queen of Heaven, the supreme mother-goddess of this universe. As for The Source, the angels obey this supreme being without question and honour them always. The angels do not tend to ask questions about their orders, and do not have much ambition or ego; they live to serve the Divine Plan. This, however, is what caused them to have a crisis when Jehovah pretended to be The Source, and began giving corrupted orders, aiming to destroy the ancient civilizations and bring his own plan to the world. Even though these orders were destructive, most of the angels obeyed, since they were fully obedient. Those who didn't obey became demons- the rebels.
Followers of the Right Hand Path uphold the values of mercy, compassion, nobility, truth, and order. They have many similarities with Buddhism, and worship beings such as the angels, Queen of Heaven, the Logos, and The Source. Some followers may even wish to worship beings such as Quan Yin, the merciful bodhisattva who loves all mankind. The ultimate goal of the Right Hand Path is to undergo the ego death, where the individual loses their personal identity and seeks union with the supreme deity- The Source. To do this, they do what they can to discipline themselves in temperance, meditation, prayer, good deeds, valour, humility, compassion, angelic wisdom, acceptance, and selflessness. They seek knowledge to a degree, and may use some forms of magick (especially for healing), but they ultimately choose to obey the will of the One, and don't deviate from the divine plan. Because of this, they don't try to change much in the world, and if they want something major changed, they will often ask for guidance and permission from The Source first. Though overall, they value honourable deeds, selfless service to mankind, and upholding the peace. A lack of ambition, attachments, and passions/indulgences are present among these individuals, as they do not seek to empower themselves but only to uphold the divine plan, as well as the light of truth. Their self-control can be severe, as they often try to live very humbly and to serve their idea of the greater good.
This Path is different form the Abrahamic religions in that it does not support obsession with “purity”, hypocritical behaviours, superiority complexes, and the many false teachings of the Abrahamic scriptures that were used to perpetuate genocides and manipulate countless millions into submission. The true Right Hand Path followers seek to become enlightened enough in life, so that when they die, they may have the opportunity to be merged into The Source, to be part of them forever. When this happens, it's like becoming a cell for a greater being, eternally floating through their vast form of Light. This is good for those who seek to be united with the One and nothing more, but it is bad for those who wish to evolve themselves and have their own destiny beyond death. The typical moral alignment of people on this path is either lawful good or neutral good. You can still honour other deities and beings if you wish, and seek additional guidance from them.
The Middle Path
The Middle Path's purpose is mostly happiness and justice on earth, for the maximum amount of people. For this reason, it was the most common Path before Abrahamists took over by force. The majority of pagan deities follow this Path, but some exceptions follow the Left Hand Path instead (without becoming demons). In the far ancient past, before written history, it was the dragons who taught the Middle Path to humans, helping them to grow and have an ideal Path in order to be spiritual and a normal person at the same time. The closest religion to these teachings is currently Taoism. The Middle Path focuses strongly on natural cycles and on Balance. Hermeticism also flourishes optimally on the Middle Path. But if a person wants something beyond the “here” and seek higher understanding, they only point to the cycle of reincarnations and karma. If someone evolves far enough, they will eventually have to choose a different Path, to either go Right or Left. The Right leads towards becoming merged into the supreme deity (The Source) and the Left leads towards self-transformation, becoming your own empowered being upon death.
The Dragons preside over this path, and they direct the energy of “Heaven” to the “Earth”, forming the Duranki pillars. These Dragons ponder, combine, transmit, and teach these principles to various worlds, including Earth. Sages of the Middle Path receive teachings from the Dragons, and they channel these energies to assist the people on Earth, emphasizing Balance in all things, moral values, and the optimal way to govern a human society, allowing happiness, prosperity, and justice. They combine Severity and Mercy, and favour structure instead of chaos, but they are also open to progress in all things, and keen to promote new avenues of art and Knowledge (both esoteric and material). They promote the attitude of temperance and preservation of knowledge in libraries, and they excel in Alchemy, Botany, and Herbs, as well as Oracles (seeing stones, runes, all types of divination). To gain their difficult and precious Balance, they borrow from the Left and the Right; magick and acceptance, respectively.
Individuals of the Middle Path value their self-control, but do not go as far as the Right Hand Path, as the Middle Path allows people to live comfortably to a healthy degree. For example, the Right Hand Path is often against material attachments and sexuality, whereas the Middle Path supports these things since they can be healthy for a happy human life. Too much attachment, however, is encouraged against; there must be Balance. Self-mastery is important, and there will be challenges in order to achieve this, but they are not as severe as the challenges of the Left Hand Path. The Middle Path also teaches an individual to not fight with passions, as they must remain serene in judgement even during conflict. Therefore, the Middle Path combines some elements from both Right and Left, to help humans learn and grow in union with nature. These individuals often try to seek lessons from their past lives, and embrace the cycle of reincarnation, rather than trying to escape it. They enjoy living in peace with nature and living in honourable ways, supporting justice and harmony.
The Middle Path promotes the Aristotelian virtues, teachings and parables, Hermetic and Taoist philosophy, the Arts, mathematics, and being in balance with Nature and its cycles. Transcendence cannot be achieved while on the Path, because it focuses on this world and on harmony with it. However, it allows for those few who are no longer satisfied and who are also sufficiently evolved, to make the final leap, either to the Left or to the Right. Only the Void of Emptiness remains before them, and they make their final choice then. The dangers of the Middle Path are very few, that’s why it is the finest path to follow for beginners and intermediate students of the esoteric. Later on, if someone obsesses over their principles, they are in danger of oversimplifying certain patterns; or becoming a bit narrow-minded with regards to the goal of spirituality, thinking that it is solely to preserve a balanced lifestyle and a healthy connection to the world. Whereas these things are important, one should not be limited in their perspectives, otherwise progress will only continue on mundane and philosophical things, but never on esoteric or transformational breakthroughs.
The Left Hand Path
The Left Hand Path is the Path of Adversity, as taught by the demons. The demons are the ancient rebels who fought against the tyrant god, Jehovah, when he falsely claimed to be the supreme deity. Many of the demons are deities or were angelic deities (being ancient angels who were created directly form The Source). One such angelic deity was Lucifer, the first-born entity of this universe- the Light born from Darkness. When these rebels lost everything after losing the War and were sent into the chaotic wasteland of Hell, they became dark and hardened by strife. Yet this also empowered them to go beyond many of their previous limitations, and to rise as warriors from the flames. The demons are severe teachers who often employ obstacles in people’s paths. So this requires the mentality of a fighter from their followers. Most people want to be left alone and live simple lives, so instead of overcoming, they often allow themselves to be swamped under their problems. They avoid taking difficult decisions. So to these people, it appears as if demons are out to ruin their lives. Yet facing the Arena of Life is the only way to truly Transform, as this Path is the only one that allows full empowerment after death, if you manage to succeed.
The ultimate goal of the Left Hand Path is self-transformation, beyond death. This Path doesn’t seek to lose our personality (ego death), like Right Hand Path, but invests it in the appropriate way while we’re alive, and builds it magickally so that it can "fly" afterwards. This means that the demons put us through trials and lessons so we can gradually become stronger and wiser, challenging our own limitations, weaknesses, and false beliefs. Our arrogance is sometimes healthy to have, but if it is too strong, it needs to be hammered into place so that it doesn't restrict our evolution. Petty arrogance is a very human thing, and the demons seek to eliminate it so we can overcome having a limited mind, instead challenging ourselves to seek great knowledge and empowerment. We must be the master of ourselves, and not allow simple human restrictions to hold us back. The demons do not support evil acts, selfishness, greed, wrongful betrayal, or absolute surrender into passions and base instincts. All these things lead towards Apep, the god of evil, not to the demonic teachings.
Those who enter this path with huge egos end up hammered into place by adversity and teachings involving painful realizations. One must be burnt in the fire and forged as a weapon on the anvil of adversity; only when they are Reborn will they know what true empowerment is. Additionally, this path loves liberty and often breaks with established tradition, making advancements and pioneering new ways of approach. It honours the demons, especially the High Kings and their Queens, and accepts some values of the Middle Path (such as meditational regime, tests, alchemy, spreading knowledge, and oracles). However, the demons will teach that if an individual can handle their passions, then they are welcome to use them to fuel their resolve, such as fighting in battles with anger. As long as the person does not lose touch with self-mastery and wisdom, this is accepted. The demons will also use the value of acceptance, but only when it is impossible to change some things; otherwise, followers of this Path will fight to achieve what they view as right. Even when facing the most cunning of tyrants, those on the Left Hand Path will fight them till the very end, refusing to simply be part of the crowd, full of people who shut their eyes and ears, seeking blissful ignorance.
The Left Hand Path focuses on empowerment of the individual and on the quest for Illumination; with regards to being reactive, it involves the shedding away of all the misconceptions and fallacies of the Abrahamic religions. If someone wants to remain within their comfort zones, the demonic teachings are not for them. The demons challenge us in order to evolve. Sometimes this means difficult changes, since people have a habit of remaining in toxic situations that are detrimental to them, due to fear, complacency, delusion, etc. So such realizations cause adverse feelings at first, which many find uncomfortable, especially if they have settled in such a life. So in that case, the demons urge them to remove themselves from what is holding them back, in order to become free. As with the other two Paths, you can still honour other deities and beings if you wish, and seek additional guidance from them. Additionally, while most pagan gods follow the Middle Path, there are some exceptions who follow the Left Hand Path instead. Some examples of these gods include Athena, Apollo, Prometheus, Ereshkigal, Nergal, Set, Hekate, and numerous Aztec deities.
A follower of this path values will-power, ambition, inner-strength, self-mastery, knowledge, dark wisdom, questioning tradition, rebellion, empowerment, discipline, and healthy indulgences (without becoming addicted, as this is a form of slavery to something). Free-will is respected, but those who do evil must face the consequences of their choices. For this, the demons and their followers value retribution, which is bringing the worthy punishment upon the individual. Whereas angels typically value mercy, and often allow criminals to get away with things, giving chances to the unworthy (which allows the criminal to continue murdering, molesting, etc), the demons do the opposite. That is why they torture people in Hell, who have done horrible things and never truly tried to become better. And so the demons encourage us to never be too merciful, as this often breeds more evil into the world. One must never forgive those who hurt them and then fail to make sacrifices in order to truly change and be sorry, and one must never support mercy towards someone who still deserves to face justice.
For the Left Hand Path, there are three main branches, all of which are connected to the three kingdoms. There are the teachings of Lucifer and his wife Lilith, focusing on Illumination, wisdom found in darkness, and empowerment through challenges. There are the teachings of Satan and his wife Ashtoreth, which focuses on rebellion, might, and passions. And there are the teachings of Leviathan, who focuses on solitude and the endurance of pain and loss. All of these beings are extremely ancient and wise, and they can all be learned from if one wishes. As long as respect and dedication is shown, the demons are willing to teach, and the lessons must be adhered to, rather than treated like a game. If one succeeds to become Illuminated while alive, seeking truth within themselves and in the far reaches of existence, then they can become an empowered being upon death, with their own destiny.
