Pomegranate Cookie was obviously the most torn up after all that. Which doesn’t surprise me, she would have done anything Dark Enchantress Cookie said without question. In fact, I half considered the possibility she would try to go down with the ship! Luckily… not that I cared about her to begin with! I got her out of there and she’s alive. She went through what I can only describe as a depressive episode before returning to her usual self, but I think that’s only because she’s looking for a way to bring our master back. Which… I have very mixed feelings about that I don’t plan on getting into at the moment!

Poison Mushroom Cookie (and Agar Agar Cookie, I suppose) has been carrying on as if nothing changed. I don’t think they ever understood the gravity of the situation anyway. I still have to explain to them what’s going on concerningly frequently!

I think Schwarzwalder seems okay with me around… The same goes for Bat-Cat. They were always the most loyal to me, I think…

And me? As expected I’ve been doing the best! No problems or regrets of any sort here!

Huh… You know what’s really great about that? Cookies struggle to recognize me when I’m not dressed for the occasion! When I’m wearing my usual robes people don’t tend to notice I’m “ZZ Skull” (for the record, I still think that name was dumb!), they hide my face pretty well, for the most part! Am I recognized as a follower of Dark Enchantress Cookie? Not really most of the cookies who met me directly can’t even remember who I am somehow! You’d think you’d remember one of your greatest and most dangerous enemies!

I guess it’s easy for me to avoid all the attention when I don’t want it, sometimes a guy wants to be left alone, of course!

I love seeing licorice interact with other character

Im thinkin after Dark Choco tells Dark Cacao about Liquorice and his connection to the Liquorice Sea . The CoD show up and are found by the watchers and taken to the Black Citadel and the worlds most awkward reunion persues.

Dark Choco is just sort of standing there, not knowing what to do because he never thought he would have to see them again after he left. So he just defaults to his regular dismal self that he was when he was with them. Closed eyes,arms crossed and leaning on a wall like he did with the Strawberry Jam Sword . Meanwhile Pomegranate is openly glaring at him, practically daring him to try and gloat how his situation is supposedly better then theirs. Choco Werehound Brute is standing in front of Liquorice, trying to protect him. Liquorice himself is dead on his feet and is partially leaning on Pomegranate for support ( something that worries Choco because he's always been loud and whiny in his eye) . Whilst Poison Mushroom is trying to give Choco a handfull of shroomies (Choco accepts them as to not make this reunion any more tense, plus he still has a good resistance to Poison) whilst agar agar cookie is hiding behind Pomegranate whilst clutching her mirror and staring at Dark Cacao.

Basically an awkward mess.

Plus later that night when Liquorice sleepwalks away it is a high on shroomie Choco whom brings him back to the other CoD before he gets to the castle walls . The 2 are then intercepted by a very confused and rather concerned Dark Cacao whom wanted to check up on his son and found him as high as a kite with an unconscious necromaner over his shoulders like a sack of potatoes like it was just another day of work.

I LOVE THIS!! Honestly, some of it is fairly accurate to what I planned to happen.

-The COD get captured in the Licorice Village trying to find any possible answers to Licorice's condition. Since they're criminals, they get brought back and Dark Cacao of course strips them of their weapons. However, Pomegranate has been studying Licorice's condition herself as best she can and she probably knows more than the Dark Cacao Kingdom. This is absolutely her bargaining chip.

-Dark Cacao absolutely knows by now that Licorice controls the sea monsters. I do think both Cacao and Choco would wrongly assume the Dreaming Plague was intentionally caused by Licorice and planned to force him to fix it. Obviously that doesn't pan out the way they hoped since Licorice also has it. (However! I don't think they would spread the news about this ability. Dark Cacao has already found the other surviving Licorice Tribe cookies and promptly lost them again. He's not dumb, announcing that one of them controls the sea monsters would have fatal consequences for the remaining tribe members wherever they may be.)

-Licorice promptly ends up in a spare room since they already ran out of space in the infirmary. He is trying to help with the research, since it relates to his powers, but it's rough.

-the awkwardness is so real. I imagine Pomegranate instinctively moves to use her mirror on Choco the moment she sees him and he flinches. Agar Agar has no idea who he is but Momegranate hates him so she does too. Poison Mushroom is just. So happy to see him again. PM accidentally knocks out all the guards next to them with a spore cloud bc they got too excited. Brute honestly does not care much what Choco is doing. He's just more concerned about keeping Licorice safe. He refuses to leave Licorice alone at all. And Licorice is too tired to be properly pissed off about Choco being there and betraying them. But he's still very hostile, Bat-Cat ends up hissing at Choco for Licorice though.
