If you, like me, have trouble remembering to bring your diary card with you to therapy, there's an app called DBT 911 that might help! It's free and isn't just for emergencies and has a diary card function as well as many other functions! And I always remember to bring my phone with me so this way I always have my diary card!
idk i have dbt tomorrow and it's rlly physically and emotionally/mentally taxing bc i have to walk all the way there and it's honestly not that far, it prob takes me 15/20 minutes to walk there but that's a lot for someone who has no energy/spoons to start with
then once i'm there i have to check in w/ what skills i used and tbh i havent filled out my dbt card this week at all and kinda talk about what's goin on in my life and i just dont want to do that and i dont want to learn new skills and i dont want to do anything
idk i want to quit dbt tbh

I’m really getting sick of the mindful animals. I’m not going to lie it stings a little. Here I am more than a year into DBT and I can’t figure out WTF mindfulness is. I’ve not hidden this from my counselor, my DBT coach, my blog readers or myself. I have reached out for clarity of WTF mindfulness is. I have read and read and read. I have listened and written and cried.
I’ll never understand why all these people offer the same bit of bullshit clarification: it’s hard for everyone. No it’s not. Maybe “doing mindfulness” may be tricky for some. But I’m talking about cognitively understanding WTF it is.
So I’m going to assume the multitudes of people (mostly DBT professionals BTW) posting “mindful” sleeping animals (“spot is sooo mindful” “cat is practicing mindfulness”) don’t have learning disorders. That they have never been in a community where everyone gets it but you. Because maybe then they would understand how hurtful it is to see these posts that trivialize how fucking complicated this is for me. And how stupid I feel.
