Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 cup chopped parsley. 1/4 cup minced onion. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 egg, beaten. 1/4 cup bourbon. 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 cup barbecue sauce. 2 tablespoons bourbon. 2 tablespoons brown sugar. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce. 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 400F 200C. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, onion, garlic, beaten egg, 1/4 cup bourbon, crumbled bacon, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through. In a saucepan, combine barbecue sauce, 2 tablespoons bourbon, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Cook over medium heat until heated through. Once the meatballs are cooked, transfer them to the saucepan with the barbecue sauce mixture and toss to coat evenly.
