As said, there are 14 worlds/realms 7 higher ones 7 lower ones.

We're not using Terrance Howard math here.

Okay. These are the Vedic lokas (because there is a more commonly accepted number in Hinduism - nuance moment: commonly accepted, doesn't mean it's believed in totality by everyone).

K, back to the 14 first.

The higher 7 lokas are said to be the heavens, inhabited by the gods and celestial beings more affiliated/closer to "truth" - in vedic and hindu terms, this is idea of divine truth, waking up to the realizations of the universe - maya (the grand illusion), think more awakened, fully formed, wise, have achieved some form of spiritual liberation from ego and the like). And to counter - the 7 lower are often thought of as "hells" - not exactly fire and brimstone but where you suffer the consequences of bad karma, having to live out/purify yourself.

In some iterations, yes, hellish beings to use that phrase, and demons (of a like) can occupy those lower lokas.

As mentioned earlier, in Hinduism, one of the most common take on the lokas is the: Trailokya.

Or three lokas, three spheres, planes of existence, three worlds, often considered: Earth (Bhuloka), Heaven (Svarga), Hell (Naraka), or - Earth (Bhuloka), Heaven (Svarga), and the Netherworld (Patala).

Course of rebirth and liberation

The Buddhist cosmology is not a literal description of the shape of the universe, rather, it is  the universe as seen through the divyacaksus (Abhijna: higher knowledge Ref), the "divine eye" by which a Buddha or an arhat can perceive all beings arising (being born) and passing away (dying) within various worlds, and can tell from what state they have been reborn, and into which state they will be reborn.

Beings can be reborn as devas (gods), humans, animals, asuras (demigod or titans), pretas ("hungry ghosts"), and as inhabitants of the hell realms.

The process by which sentient beings migrate from one state of existence to another is dependent on causes and conditions. The three causes are giving or charity, moral conduct, meditative development, and their opposites. Rebirth in the Kama-loka (desire realm) depends on a person's moral conduct and practice of giving. Rebirth in the Rupa-loka (form realm) and Arupa-loka (formless realm) also requires meditation development (=dhyana) (Ref2). Liberation from all rebirth requires wisdom in addition to moral conduct and meditation (Ref3).

仏教の宇宙論は、宇宙の形を文字どおりに記述したものではなく、ブッダや阿羅漢が、様々な世界の中で生起 (生まれ)、消滅 (死) していくすべての存在を感知し、どのような状態に生まれ変わったか、どのような状態に生まれ変わるかを見分けることができる「神の目」であるディビャカクシュ(六神通、梵：アビジュニャー参照)を通して見る宇宙のことを指す。

生物は、デーヴァ（神）、人間、動物、アスラ（半神または巨人）、プレタ（餓鬼）、そして地獄の住人として生まれ変わる。

Zephyr:

Zephyr takes after Dagur with his red hair and green eyes, but is more like Astrid when it comes to personality. She is more refrained and while she could easily kick your arse, prefers to act mother and help Astrid take care of her younger siblings. She is the oldest of the children and is 16 when the story takes place. She is Silver blooded, so Astrid is terrified for when she turns 18 and is made to enter into the Silver blood mating ceremony

Lokas:

This is the most accurate picture I have for how I imagine the twins. Lokas takes after Dagur again with red hair, although his is more orange-y with streaks of blond on top when he’s been out in the sun. His eyes are blue/green and his main goal in life is to cause mischief. Him and Ebba both think the mating ceremony is a rubbish idea and are planning to run away the night before and join the Bronze city as refugees. He is Silver blood.

Ebba:

Once again using the picture above, Ebba looks the most like Astrid. She has bright blue eyes and blond hair with hints of reddish brown closer to her scalp. She helps Lokas cause trouble all the time and is constantly getting into scraps and fights with the other kids in the village. Out of all her kids, Astrid was most certain that Ebba would be a Silver blood because of her love for battle and fearless nature, making her shocked when her test comes back Gold.

Nuffink:

As the youngest of the kids, Nuffink becomes Astrid’s baby who she clings onto, hoping he won’t ever be old enough to enter the ceremony. He looks the same as he does in “HTTYD the lost world” with blond hair and green eyes. Nuffink is very quiet when out and generally just stays with either Astrid or Zephyr. For ages, Astrid was worried he would be a Bronze as he never showed any desire to fight. When Ebba’s blood test came back Gold, Astrid was then terrified that her baby would be Gold as she would never be able to see him again if he was Gold, while she could go to Bronze City any day.

The Vitruvian man

First, please watch this 3-minute video.

The Vitruvian man is a drawing, not a painting, but an ink-on-paper drawing, drawn around 1490, by the Italian genius painter, architect, scientist, mathematician, anatomist, engineer and cartographer - basically a polymath, Leonardo da Vinci. Along with the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper, it is considered to be one of his masterpieces.

The drawing, which combines art with mathematics, represents the ideal human body proportions. Its inscription in a square and a circle comes from a description by the 1st century BC Roman architect Vitruvius - hence its name.

Leonardo da Vinci, goes on to explain what these ideal human body proportions are. I have hyperlinked another video for people who want to know more about the mathematics of human body. It is really fascinating. Please also try and read up on the Divine ratio, phi. All of this was touched upon mysteriously by Dan Brown in Da Vinci code.

What fascinated me about The Vitruvian man, other than its mathematics, was the spiritual aspects of the drawing. Let me explain in brief.

Encyclopædia Britannica states that Leonardo envisaged the Vitruvian Man as a cosmografia del minor mondo (cosmography of the microcosm). He believed the workings of the human body to be an analogy for the workings of the universe.

This concept relates so closely to the Sanskrit concept of Yatha Pinde, Tatha Brahmande, which means that the human body is a microcosm of the entire universe. Isn't the similarity uncanning?

Now, let's talk about the second half of the above video, where Neoplatonism and the hierarchy of life forms are discussed - starting with God at the top and ending with devil at the bottom. See how closely it relates to the Hindu concept of the 14 lokas, 7 above Bhuloka and 7 below. Like the Hindus believed, man could evolve across the lokas by evolution in his consciousness. Stunning similarities, conceptually, eh!
