Both the Celestial realm and Devildom have eyes everywhere, in the form of doves and crows/ravens respectively. Most of Mammon’s older familiars are actually fallen doves, who chose to fall with him. Some of his doves stayed in CR to keep an eye on everyone there, while some crows/ravens are newer and from devildom. He even has some in the human realm to watch over them as well. He reports back to both Lucifer and Diavolo with his crows, while his doves report to him and his Father.

Sun Wukong: (humiliated by them and deceived into accepting a terrible job offer, tricked, and was imprisoned under a claustrophobic mountain for 500 years and then forced to endure 81 trials of tribulations while carrying his weak Master on his skinny waist back the entire journey cause the rest of his team couldn’t tell human from demon 80% of the time)
Erlang Shen: (mother was imprisoned under Peach Mountain for 1000 years and father killed by the Jade Emperor because of stubborn celestial rules; had to fight against them all cause none of those bitches would ever consider leaving his poor family alone unless he spilled blood)
Nezha: (died tragically and violently when he was only 3 years old because of Li Tian Wang aka his father aka a high ranked celestial official who was granted a powerful pagoda by the realm to control him)
Chang’E And HouYi: (both of them were punished for SAVING HUMAN LIVES because Yandi the Sun Deity’s 10 children were burning everything on earth; the Jade Emperor told HouYi to save the people then got mad when he did and punished him for killing the suns even though that was the only way to save the common folks; forced out of immortality and tried to achieve it again through a treacherous journey through seas and mountains etc. to meet the Queen Mother of the West who only gave him a dosage for ONE PERSON (I know she has more she’s just STINGY); Chang’E ingests the pills after being forced and never sees her husband again cause he died of old age all because the celestial realm is “fair” and “so generous”)
Cowherd and Weaver: (Queen Mother forces her rainbow seven girls to weave day and night without rest; when Weaver meets the love of her life (a human) Queen Mother is pissed she has freedom and forces them apart to only meet once every year “out of the goodness of her heart”; btw the Weaver and Cowherd have CHILDREN and Weaver can only see them when she sees Cowherd ONE DAY EVERY YEAR)
White Snake: (loving couple: forced apart by celestial rules cause White Snake is a “disgusting” Yao Guai marrying a human even though they ARE IN LOVE LEAVE THEM ALONE)
