In 2016, the Sfumato Society deployed four of its finest specialists into the restricted sectors of the Paris Catacombs. Their objective was to locate [REDACTED], a site rumored to exist deep within the unmapped, and far beyond the public tunnels.

THE  HOUSE  OF  DISSENSION  is  a 21+  original,  psychological  horror, drama, and political  roleplay  set  in  a  retrofuturist  2028,  where  identity  has  become  a  product,  obedience  a  prescription,  and  silence  the  only  permitted  rebellion.  Inspired  by  Severance,  Succession,  The  Sims,  and  Control,  it  explores  corporate  surveillance,  manufactured  realities,  and  the  ghost-like  aftermath  of  partitioned  lives.  The  aesthetic  is  mid-century  modern  gone  sterile:  sleek  chrome,  synthetic  smiles,  and  cocktail  parties  hosted  beneath  the  glare  of  hidden  cameras.  Centered  around  profound  character  evolution,  embracing  dark  narratives,  intricate  personal  journeys,  immersive  world-building,  and  transformative  plot  developments  designed  to  challenge  your  character  and  reshape  the  very  fabric  of  their  reality. GEM OF A CHARACTER

Society is built up on people, each special and distinctive in their own ways, much like a precious jewel. Every person is a precious jewel, carrying a sparkle of their own, and each has their own strength to endure scandals and expectations, but as precious as a jewel can be, they can also be flawed with secrets.  For this task, choose a jewel that best represents your character. Are they sharp and brilliant, but endure all like a diamond, or maybe they are more like a sapphire, cool and composed? An opal has been known to change its colors; does your character relate by changing who they are depending on who they align themselves with? The choices are endless, but eager to see nonetheless.  Once you’ve chosen your gemstone, create a visual representation, which could be a mood board, collage, or graphic that captures the essence of your character and their chosen jewel with a little bit of information as to how it relates to your character. You could also include how such a gemstone is incorporated into their lives. Is it a family heirloom they secretly covet, something they wear to cement their position in society?
