On the hottest day in the history of Lubbock (ok maybe thatโs not totally true, but 114 is kinda hot ๐ฅต) KK , my adorable cooking student, and I made stuffed bell peppers! ๐ถ๐ง๐ฅฉ๐ฅซ๐ฝ We used the @thepioneerwoman recipe as a base and then KK made some key decisions to make it her own! We also discussed how we could add or take away things to make it Italian or Mexican themed! ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฒ๐ฝ Iโve really been trying to teach her recipes that she can memorize and use without notes. Thatโs how @mamava42 taught me, and itโs faired me well all these years so Iโm just passing it along to the next generation! ๐ ๐ค๐ค We tasted as we went, a lesson all cooks must know, and KK did a great job adjusting the seasonings to make it perfect! This young lady has really come a long way and her knife skills and knowledge are really growing!
