Me when experimenting with 'shifting' as a woman of science. The meditations *do* in fact make you feel all funny. I had a tingly/twitchy/falling feeling with the last method. It was called the 'inbetween method'. Previous attempts have been with the 'Julia method'. I tried one with the 'Adhd method' and then sleeping on a journal with details of my desired reality. I gave it a good go, but I didn't do too much research. Practical experience.
I was told (by the internet) that these are all supposed feelings that you've shifted realities and that when you go to sleep and wake up, you will be in your desired reality.
I woke up in my bed with a sore neck, and thick hot air from leaving my heater on. I feel a bit weird, but I did just nap from 5pm to half past 8.
In conclusion: I don't think I'll be trying again. The nap did slightly improve the migraine I had though, but I still feel :/ about my failed uni essay (which was why I gave it one extra go when I was just going to call it a day on shifting last night).
guys so I was using the Julia method for shifting, and I decided to do it sitting up (I’ve always done it laying down) and I swear to god that was the closest to shifting I’ve ever gotten and was such an out-of-body experience

Another day, another shifting log lol
Last night I went at it again, but I did some experimenting. I had something that I needed to be up early for today, so I knew it wasn't going to be an entirely serious attempt (I needed to get some sleep). I saw something, though, last night while looking through a whole bunch of shifting stuff about the Julia Method. It had been a while since I had tried that, but I remembered that it tended to work well if you stuck it out and fell asleep. I found a meditation, settled in for what I now realize was probably a really bad position, but brown noise on queue, and let things take course. It was a really good guided meditation, but I could not fall asleep for the sake of me, and wasn't willing to wait that long since I knew I had something to do in the morning, so I turned over on my side and fell asleep normally. However, that meditation put me perfectly in the so-called "void state" so if I had let myself fall into that, I really do think I would have shifted successfully. Maybe I'll try it again tonight. May ask the tarot cards for advice.

I am listening to this in combination with some subliminals from my Desired Reality in preparation for tonight’s Shifting session. I am also drinking more water than normal, as I have heard it is very beneficial to the Shifting process.
I have no predetermined hopes for tonight beyond the hope that I experience the Shifting sensations/symptoms once more. I found them to be incredibly exciting and fascinating.

The Julia Method
This is the first Shifting Method I have tried, and is the one that brought on the aforementioned results. I have not shifted with it yet, however, I intend to keep trying.
Step One:- Play Theta Waves and meditate for 5-10 minutes.
During this step, I personally lie on my back, arms and legs apart. I focus on slowing my breathing and clearing and lingering stress from the day. Then, I do my best to clear my mind. This step so far has made me feel incredibly peaceful. According to some, meditating throughout the day as well can help one to Shift.
Step Two:- Repeat “I am” until you begin to feel Shifting sensations/symptoms.
I personally do this in my head, however, you can do it aloud if you wish. I repeat this slowly, breathing deeply in between.
Some common Shifting sensations/symptoms include:-
-Numbness
-Itchiness
-Sensation of Floating
-Seeing a bright, white light
-Racing heart
These Shifting sensations/symptoms are, in my opinion, a double-edged sword. Feeling these things was shocking and exciting, though they can also be distracting and even overwhelming. This was certainly my experience.
Step Three:- Count slowly from 1-100.
During this step, breathe deeply. I chose to think affirmations every ten numbers. During this step, I personally lost count a lot. My mind kept getting distracted by the various Shifting sensations/symptoms.
You can repeat this step as many times as you need. Don’t rush and do your best not to pressure yourself. This stage is where I chose to stop during my first attempt as the Shifting sensations/symptoms were too overwhelming. In the future, I’d like to be able to complete this step.
Step Four:- Visualise your Desired Reality.
During this step, imagine what you might see. You can incorporate your other senses too - is it warm? What can you smell? Is it dark, or bright? Are you with other people? Using your other senses here can help you better visualise your Desired Reality, especially if you have trouble with creating images in your head.
Step Five:- Open your eyes.
You should do this when you are sure you have shifted, when you feel the sensation of everything around you in your Current Reality fading away. For some, scripting that your eyes automatically open as you arrive in your Desired Reality can help. You may want to do this if you find yourself opening your eyes and you have not Shifted. As I haven’t personally reached this stage, I won’t be trying this yet, however, it’s something I am open to.
The Next Morning
I woke early the next morning, 24/05/2022, and decided to try to shift once more.
The only physical sensation I felt this time was the feeling of numbness, that came easily to me.
Unfortunately, as it was day time, the City in which I live was more alive, and the noise distracted me too much. I decided I’d give it another proper go the following night.
