Mr. Toybox (he/they) : Toybox (or TB for short) started off roughly like his original counterpart Mr. Puzzles, but TB configured themselves WAYY before Puzzles was suspected to (P: early adults?? Maybe mid 20’s?? // TB: late teens like 15)

TB has a younger mind to them, not exactly a CHILD mind but he has a childlike wonder for certain things at times. As a child however, TB was obsessed with toys more than anything (he still chose to have a CRT head dunno abt that) but people always made fun of him for that when he grew up because they were perceived as “too young for those silly things” as his father said. They collected them for comfort as the years went by due to developing mental issues such as schizophrenia. (The schizophrenia has died down much since his human days but you’d see him talking to a wall sometimes)

As the years passed, TB kept configuring himself into what he is today. A jack-in-the-box / toy chest compartment. They once worked as a party entertainer but as the years went by, kids didn’t care for him and just ignored them at parties. He later quit his job and was now homeless (kinda cuz he can go inside his compartment anytime??)

After they quit their job, he kept begging at houses to let him in for the night. Many, MANY people denied him. But one didn’t. Meggy Spletzer.

Meggy was kind enough to let them in and gave him the guest room. Just for one night, right?? She proceeded to give him food and comfort TB hasn’t gotten in YEARS. But after he left for the night, Meggy kept finding confetti and toys everywhere in her house AND Peach’s Castle when she visited SMG4.

She was suspicious. Where is all this confetti coming from? Why are there toys everywhere? She had too many questions.

Until she saw a familiar puzzle-pieced pattern box in the lobby one day.

Toybox was living in Peach’s Castle. And of course SMG4 is a tad bit suspicious of him at first. Possibly even ANGRY at him because he kept stealing food. But after a couple nights, he decided to let him stay permanently. Toybox is forever grateful.

And after a long while, Toybox was made a crucial member of the SMG4 crew!!
