Did you know...?
In Basque, "to help" is said lagundu, a verb that comes from noun lagun (friend) because helping is what a friend does 🥰.

"you're not thinking about that basque bird song again are you?"
"if i'd clipped its wings, it would've been mine, it wouldn't have flown away, but this way it wouldn't have been a bird anymore, and i loved the bird"
whattttt noooo thats crazyyyyy whattttt!!!!!?????!? (i'm actually thinking about the original poem)
a performance in euskera / basque in one of the main late night shows in the country on national public television let's fucking gooo !!!!
also if you like this style, i highly recommend both izaro and baiuca. izaro is literally my favourite basque singer, all her discography is incredible, literally no notes. and baiuca is an electro-folk producer / dj ?. i think they're galician because most of their stuff is with galician artists, but as you can see her they aren't limited to that. in fact, they have an ep with alba reche that is incredible, i listen to it pretty regularly.
