I was yapping at my partner about Eliksni since they LOVE bugs and Eliksni are bug like to a lot of people. I specifically sent them a photo of what their carapace looks like and they mentioned that they're more crablike

And I went "Oh, Drifter calls Eido Crabcakes!"

And we both realized at the same time

Firstly, I'd like to make a note of how I ACCIDENTALLY COMPLETELY NAILED DOWN BAEL'S BACKSTORY (sorta, didn't even read the lore tabs going into it until AFTER I did the theorizing). Secondly, I haven't seen like.... Any art of Bael. Which is weird, because he's like..... Pretty cool. Someone please draw that man getting therapy. He needs it.

Alrighty, opinions.

The syndicates are AMAZING. All of them have some personality, a decent amount of lore, but just enough missing to be filled in later. Playing the activities has been fun, though invasion is pretty hit and miss for reasons I'll get into later. I find smuggle to be my favorite (Partly because you can use the new jetpack while carrying cargo), and bounty hunt to be my least favorite. Not that bounty hunt is bad, but the extraction can be painful sometimes if you have low lives (ESPECIALLY IF THE RETALIATORS ARE WYVERNS, BECAUSE I LOVE THEM BUT UUUUUUGH). One thing I noticed is that I've not seen a SINGLE PERSON, sans one when I was invading, USING THE FALCON. THIS IS A CRIME. USE IT. IT'S AMAZING.

Speaking of invasion, I like it. It can be somewhat annoying sometimes, especially if the opposition has a behemoth up, but I find it overall pretty fun. Something I really enjoy is the ability to blend in as an invader due to not having any sort of blow or anything, makes it really easy to be sneaky.... Or if you're like me, pull up at 120 miles (Or something something kilometers) per hour with my falcon and go ham.

Something I did notice is that using prismatic can be a bit iffy, because it's partly bound to the same button (On controller at least) as you use to activate prismatic. This isn't THAT big a deal, just a me issue I suppose.

Alright, character stuff.

Already talked about bael, definitely going to get into Lodi and his plan after I get started on my hunter, and am planning A WHOOOOLE thing for Aunor..... Fuck it, I'ma just ramble.

BLUE. We all love her, and we all think she's amazing. As someone who has a long history of looking into everything they can about Drifter, I halfway expected Blue to be droid beeping the entire dlc, so her getting a voice was NICE. Also, admittedly, didn't realize Blue would be a she, happy though. I love the way that, dispite her fully justified grievance towards Drifter, she can't ACTUALLY fully hate him. It's just how a lightbearer and there ghost is. Even during her more ranty moments, she's usually either completely correct about Drifter (Or retrospectively correct) or can't fully bring herself to actually underestimate him. Sure she gets heated, but it's pretty obvious she still cared about him. Also, love her voice, genuinely. She fits pretty well with Drifter, even if some would have preferred a more contrast to him..... Just wish she and Eris talked more.

Welp, better get started on my hunter, which means I'll have officially tried all the new exotics and can give my opinion on those. Also the heat weapons, because I like them a lot.

Since the vanguard clearly banned Eido from official shenanigans she has snuck in to join your summoning without parental supervision.
